    Hi all

I joined just before Christmas. Eleanor arrived 7/1 so I have been a bit busy since then. I have just paid 1% (refund) and am hoping to list some of my maternity stuff this weekend - or next free listing day.

Good luck with your % everyone!

jhl1987 I am not sure why you've asked people to PM you for details of the Iphone app - we're all in here to support each other, not to make it harder for each other! :)

Anyway I believe you're referring to the app called 'Flick Points' which is found by searching the App store. Don't know what it's like as I have never used it. It states 'watch videos, get free rewards' and the app itself seems to be free. However the first review on the app store is from someone who says you seem to have to watch 3,000 videos just to get 1 dollar so maybe not worth it after all.....

Yes it was FlickPoints which I thought I had put in my title and I also thought I couldn't make referral's here so that's the only reason I didn't, sorry about that, definitely not trying to make it harder!
Yes I think it would probably take that many for just watching videos but you get the most points from going through the app to feature points where you download other apps, it's 3000 points for $5 I'm on 2000 points in about 2 or 3 days!

    Hi all,

Sorry for the absence and although I have no more %'s to report I have been busy and am working on them clocking up very soon. ;)

I have started the ball rolling on a PPI claim gor my OH so hopefully we should get at least £200 from that.

I have also cancelled my chocolate tasting club membership so that's gonna be an extra £6.16 a month to put towards savings :j

I have meal planned for the next couple of weeks using mostly items from the cupboards / freezer so hopefully will save a bit on food shopping :D

I've also been busy with swagbucks and wahoo bingo - its a slow haul but the points are mounting up slowly but surely. :D

I've also signed up for 9 mystery shops at the start of Feb which will earn me £90 so can't wait to be able to do these and get the money transferred. :j

Some big news for us though is that we complete on our 2nd BTL house on Monday  and we've paid for everything for the florida holiday in 51 days :D apart from spending money. The really good news is that we still have £22k in the bank even after our 25% deposit on the BTL property and the £8k for the holiday so I'm really proud of our achievements - this thread has made such a difference to my outlook :)

A big welcome to all our newbies and a big congratulations on the birth of baby Eleanor xxx
    Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.02
  • Everyone is doing so well. :T

I just paid off another 1% so my total stands at £2586 so far this year. 15% :j

Running out of anything I can sell now so progress will slow down to about 5% every month unless I can find something else to stick on #bay.:o

Resisted 14 items on eBay today, nsd here too :) kids been unbelievably whiny today, mainly my 2 year old :( so we've been rather stressed!

Hoping to list some new things tomorrow, aiming for 10 things. I also need to research/plan several birthday presents for feb and actually start making my friends present, it's only a week away!

Really trying to be more aware of our gas and electric usage now so hoping that will bring our direct debits down over time, also thinking more about petrol. For example, I drive the 7 seater and the. Husband drives the Eco car. If I'm going further afield and don't need any extra seats than the 4 me and kids need then ill take the Eco car and he will drive mine to work etc obviously doesn't work if I'm pickin up my nana or a friend etc. but his car uses 50% less petrol than mine!
