Morning!
I've been planning which debt I tackle next (April or sooner) and decided on my overdraft which is currently at £1990 and paying £30/£31 a month for it  I'm hoping to pay it off by October (6 months)
Then ill just be left with my CC to deal with (debt 1) and saving up for my balloon payment on the husbands car which needs paying oct 2014 so it will give me a year to save up £2137. It will hopefully only take 6 months at £360 a month, so going to start that in March next year (leaves 2 months before the payment is due) so can work on my CC oct 2013 until March 2014 And then again sept/oct 2014 onward. Obviously it may not work out like that but i have to plan! :rotfl:
This challenge is fab, this month alone I've earned an extra £295 (so far!) to pay off my debt to my mum for my car. Plus my normal £100 payment it will be practically £400  so hopefully if it all gets paid over fine I'll only owe her £500 from feb 1st *giddy feeling*

Natterjack - I have lots of fun recording my percentages - although I'm more of a spreadsheet addict! How's the saving for a new car going?
Yeah a spreadsheet is a good idea too!
Car saving is going OK, looks like we may be able to get one sooner rather than later. We wanted a Scenic but someone we know is selling a Meriva for cheaper than we can get a Scenic and its got everything we need. We will then have 2 cars as we can do it without selling ours first, then whatever we get from selling ours goes straight to this challenge (probably minus mot and tax costs that would now be due in April).
Can't wait to get on with challenge!£20 a day April 2014 £834.87/£600 :j

FallenArcher, thanks so much for your reply - I think I get it now!!
I'm going to give this a go and see if I can get this debt down once and for all! I think I'll do one at a time though - might be easier ;o)

Another percent paid off today, leaving me at 2% paid!!! A £40 refund came through finally from before xmas, for a xmas present that I bought off amazon and then found £30 cheaper in home and bargains. Thankfully the amazon seller I bought it from was happy enough for me to return it and even refunded my postage charges. So that went straight on the CC.
Had a sorting out day today, got loads to put on ebay and i've already listed a few things. That plus a £3 survey completed puts me well on my way to another 1%. You were right, this is addictive!
happytails, you are doing so well!Working my butt off to buy the house of my dreams!0 -
You are all doing fantastic, well done! I just keep an eye on the thread for ideas as I am off sick at the moment any money is for bills but I have found an app for iPhone / iPad, my points are adding up fairly quickly and can be withdrawn as PayPal, PM me for details - I will also put on referrers board.
Keep going! I look forward to joining properly soon!0 -

Thanks for the heads up on the free listing weekend, got a load of stuff to list.
Paid another percent today, bringing my total to 3%! We've been really careful with our money and have a little extra in our budget as a result, which was a nice feeling. Also paid the last payment off a debt I've been paying off for 5 years today *phew*. Feels amazing to have it gone from my life, and as a result I will have an extra £100 a month (or 3. something %, sorry, not very mathematically minded) to pay off my credit card each month! yay!Working my butt off to buy the house of my dreams!0 -
My 6th way to make 1% is:
Referrals
The two main online shops I get referrals from are VioVet (UK pet supplies) and iHerb (US vitamins/supplements).
Bought some stuff for the kitties today from VioVet, and used the £21 I had in credits :T
Any other good referral websites out there?R.I.P. Bart. The best cat there ever was. :sad:0
