    Evening!

Made £10 yesterday selling some shelves and £27.50 today selling 3 willow tree figures (ive kept 3 as couldnt part with them all). Got a 99p bid on an ebay item ending this weekend and a few watchers on the other stuff. Still not listed anything else on Ebay but do have a massive pile of stuff on my desk ready :o

Had to buy a new phone case today as mine broke (After 20 months use though). Got my new one from o2 as had a 20% off code, also got the husband 2 for his phones (business and personal) and they were in the sale and still 20% off :) Came to £23 for 3 Iphone 4 cases/covers :T Which will hopefully prevent too much damage seeing as we dont have insurance for them as the excess seems to be around £100 per phone

Got my surprise baby shower this weekend, my best friend organised it, all i know is to be ready for 12.30 and bring £10 with me, friends have covered the rest :) Should be good but ill have no time that day to do anything productive with my debts. Ah well, there is always sunday :)

Afternoon! Off to check up on my credit reports with Equifax and Experian. Got to cancel Experian before trial ends. I bet its not easy to do!

Photographing all my Ebay things today as its free listings this weekend and TBH i have alot of stuff cluttering up my desk!!

We are with British gas, dual fuel and wondering if it will be beneficial to move suppliers since they are upping their rates soon, not sure how to go about this, been with BG 3 years and had no problems really. Any advice?

  • Hey happytails, I guess comparison sites are a good place to start. I'm sure MSE will have written a good guide to help. Don't forget to go through cashback site so then if you do switch, BONUS! If the switch isnt going to save you much then I would then ring BG to see if they can do anything like lock in the price for you? Make sure you know what tarriff you are on (find out KwH price on a statement as this will give you the most accurate comparison) Hope this helps :)

In other news, I have just added 3% bringing my total up to 26% woop!! This was from doing 3 nights babysitting and a try me free refund.

Over 1/4 of the way there now, wasn't expecting it to happen so quickly. Also because most of it is additional income from MSE and ive been more careful about my spending then this month I reckon i will actually have some wages still left over.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend :) I have some extra hours at work due to an open weekend at work. Not sure ill feel so happy about it after working 12 hours on a Sunday!!! Toodles

    Hey all,

Just reporting in - haven't been around recently as work has gone haywire!! I'm having to move to Birmingham during the week as I'm on a new project. Going to be there from Monday for the next 18 months leaving wife and 7-month daughter in Sussex.

But the upside is that I will be receiving massive financial benefit from this new project and almost all of it will be able to go towards debt. We estimate at the moment (before starting) that we could be debt-free in 10 months!!

Anyway - here is the current update:

    1% member # 53
    1% = £70
    Total %age = 14%!!

We have another 2% in the bank but waiting for CC company to fix an issue where they can't take payment from us!
Total Credit Card Debt - £6,108/£7,079 (0% until April 2013)
    1% at a time #53 - 13/100
    DFD - [STRIKE]May 2015[/STRIKE] August 2014
Proud to be dealing with my debts
  • Typical that just as I decided to list a couple things on Ebay last night today found out there's free listing this weekend! Oh well can't do much this weekend anyway as I'm in college and then seeing family both evenings, but at least I have a bid on one item already! :T And is a perfume I received as a gift (but really don't like it!) :rotfl:so is all profit!
    2019 will be my year!!

    Hi Everybody,

I have just paid another 1% into my mums account of £40.

This was from a cheque for £10 that I received as I had a bit of a moan to a company that there product was junk.

£20 transfered from paypal account from ebay sales.

£10 from my pig in copper.

I have sat and listed 58 items to put on ebay so they will be going live later today so I am hoping for some sales this time nect week.

So that is 2% now. Only 98% to go.

    Have a good weekend
