PRM36, I'm afraid the person is correct that if the rates on the comparison website is not listed in Pounds sterling then EJH won't pay double the difference, to find the T&C, just go to the homepage of their hotel booking, click on the T&C on bottom right of the page and you should be able to find it.

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

I've just had a quick look but can't find anything with a big enough price difference to make it worthwhile. I'll keep going though.....

    Hi There..

Iv had a development that I got a response saying they are looking into my claim.. how long does it take from that to get an answer? Am I best ringing them? Only reason is it affects my budget that I am spending on my wife for our anniversary.

    Thanks again.

Well the best I can do is:-

    10 August, 2 nights

    5* NH Barbizon Palace

    EJH - Double/Twin Standard inc Breakfast - £378
    Find-rooms.com - Double/Twin Standard inc Breakfast - £257

    Double the difference = £242

    Total after refund = £136

    12 August, 2 nights

    5* NH Barbizon Palace

    EJH - Double/Twin Standard inc Breakfast - £332
    Find-rooms.com - Double/Twin Standard inc Breakfast - £257

    Double the difference = £150

    Total after refund = £182

    GRAND TOTAL = £318

Not Earth-shattering but the prices for your dates just don't vary much between suppliers. The reason I've split the dates into 2 lots of 2 nights is that you would have to make 2 seperate bookings in different names with different email addresses and using different credit cards in order to be able to claim for both.

    Hi Mr_P,

I finally got my claim approved but it did take some time, they said that they had not received (several!) emails I had sent them.

Do you know what it is that they are looking into? If not, give them a call and ask them.

    Keep us informed x

We do apologise for the delay."

That normally means that you will get your confirmation email very soon, I got my confirmation only a few hours after that one (after waiting weeks to get to that stage!).
