Have I got my anniversary sorted.........

    Carlton Hotel - Edinburgh 26/08 - 28/08
Superbreak - 268 inc scottish breakfast
EJ - 434 inc scottish breakfast

hope this would mean after refund I'd get the hotel for £102 for 2 nights?

Is this right - really scared about booking coz I've never tried this before - the only conceivable difference I can see is that the superbreak website call the hotel Paramount Carlton and EJ call it the Carlton - it is the same hotel though!

Any help/advice would be really appreciated

    Cheers - La x

    Yes that looks good.Great Find:cool:
A very good location too, between Princes St and the Royal Mile. Grabbit it b4 it goes:beer:

Remember to take a screanshot of the superbreak page with the price on, just for back up evidence.

I am fairly certain that is the company whose price was accepted for my friend. At the time we weren't sure if they were acceptable and so did have another back-up price just in case but when we worked out her refund it definitely wasn't the second company's price. (There was a slight discrepancy in the refund that I thought she should be getting and what EJH said she was getting but she never queried it. She was just too delighted to be getting such a good hotel for such a fantastic price.)

    Kind regards

    Mardrew

Thank you for your reply, Mardrew. I am also unsure about the t&cs for holiday nights, so I think I will play safe and go with find-rooms who appear to be perfectly acceptable and only a little more expensive.

The slight snag with find-rooms is that on a room only basis, the room is clearly marked double/twin standard; whereas when the B&B option is added, the room reverts to double/twin (I think for reasons of spacing). I would like to take the B&B as it represents even better value, and have emailed find-rooms for confirmation so I believe that this will be acceptable. Does anyone agree?

I hope to be able to add to the total soon. Thanks to everyone for their input into this thread.

EDIT: Sorry Mardrew, I read at first that your friend's deal was with the second company - so holiday nights may be acceptable AND they quote double/twin standard. Help, someone I am confused now.

FURTHER EDIT: Panic over. I think I answered my own question - try holiday nights and have find-rooms as a back up. I decided to go ahead only to find that, although advertised, the rooms are no longer available. Back to the drawing board I think.

    Hi

Can anyone advise if they have had experience of transferring the hotel booking. I have booked with Easyjet hotels, had a response advising that I will receive a full refund and have since received an email advising that my flight with Jet2 has been cancelled!!

I was planning to cancel my hotel but our friends in Cumbria are happy to take it off my hands. Is it possible to transfer the booking?

    Any help appreciated

Can't you get another cheap flight?

Try Travelman, sloppychops, or saveapenny on here they are all very good at getting good deals.
    I have a cunning plan!
Proud to be dealing with my debts.

From where were you flying? It seems such a shame to waste EasyJet Hotels' generosity!

    Hi,

I'm having problems with this. The T&Cs have disappeared from easyjet's website, and the person I am dealing with says that their T&Cs state that if the offer on another website is not in pounds sterling then they cannot offer double the difference.
I am sure this was not stipulated in the original T&Cs, or am I incorrect? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Regards

    Paul
