EasyJet Hotels - Double/twin standard inc breakfast - £317
https://www.find-rooms.com - Double inc breakfast - £239
Double the Difference = £156
You would end up paying £161.
However, it has some rather shaky reviews so maybe not.
Thanks, hotel seems ok! Im going in like 3 weeks though, would the process be done quickly?
So let me get it straight, I book the hotel through EJ, then send an email with details of the find rooms deal and price, they check it, email me back and refund me double the difference??0 -
thats basically it. It can now take up to 180 days from completion of stay for refund though.
take screen shots of find rooms price incase it disappears0 -
Awesome!
I am being ignored by EJH. I have emailed them several times about my claim, and all I am getting is silence! x
Hi dmg,
Have you heard anything yet? I booked on the 5th April just before the T&C change, I received an email arguing that I wasn't eligible. After disputing this I have heard nothing from them. I have sent them regular chasing emails but still nothing? What can I do?If you get to thinkin' you're a person of some influence, try orderin' someone else's dog around!0 -
i think i have got the gist of this but can you give me a hand. we are going to london on 18 june for 2 nights. we are going to wembley for a concert on 19 june so we need to be somewhere near enough to travel to wembley cheaply and also visit the sites, it has already been surgested that we stay in the baker street tube station area but i have no knowledge on the hotels around there.
we do not have a big budget for this trip so any savings we can get the better. can anyone find us a great deal, a free stay would be fantastic. i could maybe pay a bit more initialy for a free stay but would have to be on my mums cerdit card would that cause a problem do you think?
Can anyone find me a deal please.

Hi TAZ.
Probably not in the area you want but here goes.....
5* Swissotel The Howard
EJH - Double Standard inc Continental Breakfast - £671
Find-rooms - Double Standard inc Continental Breakfast - £423
Double the Difference = £496
Cost after refund = £175
Pretty good for 2 nights B&B in a 5* London hotel! This space has been intentionally left blank0 -
Glenn, I think you didn't notice that Taz mentioned he needs to put it on his mum's credit card, if I remember correctly the main guest will have to be the credit card holder......
") The claimer must be the credit cardholder. Shall only be accepted one
claim per 3 months, per family and cardholder."0 -
beleive me i would love to take up that offer but i have to say its a Ozzy Ozbourne concert we are going to and taking my hubby there would be like taking Onslo (keeping up appearances) LOL. i can do 5 star hubby would lucky if he could do Little chef.
Christal, does that mean that the creditcard holder has to be staying in the hotel, cos if thats so unless i can get my mum to give me the cash i doubt i will have that much cash in the bank to do it with my debit card.0 -
check www.Londontown.com
They have a best price guarantee too. If you find the same rate cheaper and notify them within 48 hours, they will match it and give you £100 too.
Their qualifying hotels are not just restricted to London either, You can search most major towns and cities in UK.
Use Hotelscomparison.com , kelkoo and travelsupermarket to find lower cost comparibles.0 -
it doesnt matter who the holder is. i have had several names attached to my Coutts Platinum.0
