thats ok then. how long does it take for them to respond... 1st time doing this and nervous about being stuck with and having to pay over the odds for a hotel

Mr P, it could take one day up to 10, or in some extreme cases 26 days! Don't worry too much but do send them mails or even call them frequently to chase, so at least you are doing your bit. Make sure you receive the confirmation whether it will be refunded before the date you can cancel for £20 only.

I read on here that under the EJH quote on their website it should say "Double the Difference Guarantee" in grey, but it doesnt say it for this hotel.. Is that normal now?

Do you have to fly into the airport that EasyJet fly into, or does it make no difference?

Yes, they removed that bit as part of their de-publicising operation.

No, you can fly with whichever airline you want and into your airport of choice.

I think Rome has always been a tough one. I don't remember anyone posting about any bargains there. Also, as it is fairly short notice and a bank holiday weekend, you would always be struggling.

Thats what I thought mate, The most I can probably save is about £40 which as the hotels are about £300 odd anyway there aint much point! I may be wrong though, somebody may find something?!? Fingers crossed!

However, it has some rather shaky reviews so maybe not.

is it still double the difference according to the price promise "but if you book a hotel room with us and then find a lower price on a website of an online travel retailer for the same dates at the same hotel, we will refund the difference to you or provide a full refund"
