I dont think it would be unreasonable to simply ask EJH the date the ammended T&Cs were first published.
I was wondering if they would try the 180 days for existing bookings. Ive got 2 freebies pending and will expect refunds within 7 days of my return, as was the t&cs when I booked. (I did check at the time)
I booked on 31 March and received confirmation of my DTD refund but the e-mail stated I would receive my refund up to 180 days after my stay.
I e-mailed back to challenge this as the T & C at the time of my booking stated within 30 days of stay. I received the following reply:
"I am very sorry for the inconvenience. In our Terms and Conditions you can check:
Hotelopia reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice and you agree that your continued use of this site will be conditional upon the terms and conditions in force at the time of your use.
In your case the money will be refunded 30 days after the completion of your stay".
So worth following up.

I haven't read through this whole thread but a quick question (might seem stupid tho) - do you have to fly with easyjet to get these dtd offers at their hotels?0

Thanks Glenn, went to the safe 6 and almost had a heart attack!! Can't believe Easyjet is making it soooooooooo "invisible" now, but I guess it means they are probably just one step away from pulling the offer all together......what a shame. I always thought they could make it a real good marketing thing by advertising all the claim they have honured but do some homework to keep the price down, and it could become a real good positive point for the website...0

I would just like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Glenn, Cumbrian and Christal without whose help I would not have been fortunate enough to at least take advantage of this offer once before it ended.
Like Christal states, this could have helped Easyjet to achieve what they claim to be - the cheapest and the best - with the likes of you guys doing the leg work for them and given the % share of the market they seem to attract, isn't it sad that GREED appears to be more important to them.
Thanks guys, lets hope someone stumbles across another good loophole soon.
Regards
Bloaty

From T n Cs:easyJetHotels shall not reimburse clients should the best rated accommodation is not located where easyJet Airline currently operates, and/or is part of a package travel, package holidays or package tours, and/or is shown in a currency different to that quoted by easyJetHotels, and/or if the competitor rate is not offered by a UK bonded travel agency and/or if the rate is offered on a branded hotel chain website.
Does that mean I can only claim if the hotel is in a destination served by Easy Jet? Do they get round it this way say if you claim for a hotel in Barcelona and technically they don't actually fly to Barcelona? Can I not claim for a hotel in Miami for example?0
