Look at londtontown.com for your hotels. They offer a £100 guarantee that you won't find cheaper. We found the same deal cheaper on a London Hotel and they paid up the £100 straight away. The hotel only cost £77 so we made £23 profit.
I don't think it is dishonest either. They have made a promise that they are the cheapest. At least they back up their "Dishonesty" with a guarantee. Jolly good show by them I reckon. By the way the £100 is a once in a lifetime offer ..... literally0 -
Hi,
acn anyone help me out with a screenshot of the terms and conditions of the offer before EasyjetHotels made the change to the terms and conditions. I made a booking on the 4th April for the Easter weekend and they've agreed it but are now saying that i won't get a refund for up to 6 months but i'm sure the waiting period was much shorter when i booked it!
We can't afford to wait 6 months, we're getting married in November!!!
Hope someone can help! PM me if that's easier...
Thankyou!!!!0 -
Looking back the DTD banner went of the listings on the 4th but T&C's didn't change till the 6th.
I haven't got a copy of them try a PM to TBekket or dmg24 maybe they have a copy.I have a cunning plan!
Proud to be dealing with my debts.0 -
Sorry, I haven't got them.
However, sulliebear did take a screen print of them when they booked around that time?
Have you asked for a copy of the t & c's relevant to the time of booking? You are entitled to them! x
Edit: If anybody is more techie than me, there should be a way to find a cached copy on t'internet ... unfortunately, I don't know how! xGone ... or have I?0 -
I dont think cached pages work with EJH. It always seems to default back to home page.
I dont think it would be unreasonable to simply ask EJH the date the ammended T&Cs were first published.
I was wondering if they would try the 180 days for existing bookings. Ive got 2 freebies pending and will expect refunds within 7 days of my return, as was the t&cs when I booked. (I did check at the time)
As a sidenote Easyjethotels are the UKs 4th most visited hotel website, 92% of traffic clickthru direct from easyjet airline site. I would guess many of these customers have paid more than they had to.Traffic from MSE would probably account for as little as 1 or 2 % so the "overcharging" was probably far more profitable than the refunds. Still I suppose they had to pull the plug as it was becoming "Viral"
The list of most visited sites
1 Travelodge UK
2 InterContinental Hotels Group
3 Premier Travel Inn
4 easyJethotels
5 Hilton
6 Best Western Great Britain
7 Marriott UK & Ireland
8 De Vere Hotels
9 Ramada Jarvis
10 Best Western International

I checked on the easyhotel site and saw - no mention of double the difference, where last night it was there.
I clicked on "price promise" on the menu, and read -
Our Hotel Price Promise
The cancellation penalty has changed also.
Cancel within 3 months of the stay and no penalty (barring certain exceptions)
Their refund is the difference only, and must be processed through Octopus, according to the terms of the "price promise".0
