To clarify on comparison site hotelopia is the one to check but booked thru easyjet. don`t want to make an expensive mistake! Is that right0

Yes thats it. Find deals against hotelopia on hotelscomparison.com and other comparison sites. Get a deal.Hotelopia price, room and board should be identical on EJH. Book via EJH. Claim within 24 hours.0

hi
can i just check I have got this right,
im travelling to edinburgh on 22nd sept want to stay 2 evenings. I have done a search and found two nights in double room with breakfast hotelopia £387.00 and same deal is £218.00.
So I go ahead and book this hotel through easyjet site and then email them just quoting this or do I provide link etc. When I return they pay me twice difference in this case (£318) meaning £100 profit, which would pay my flights, is that correct?0 -
Edit: Poop - just noticed bookings.org don't count!

Hello again. Right I've found this one that looks good. It's definately the same hotel as the address and description is the same but Bookings.org call it Citadines Apart'hotel Monmatre and Hoteltopia just call it Citadine Monmatre. Here are the links

Does it look ok please?0 -

No.
they only pay up to the value of the booking. your maths is wrong anyway. if value of booking is 387. double the diff is 318. that means its costing you 69 so how you think 100 profit baffles me0 -
just noticed the cheaper booking was via latedeals who apparently don't count having read through the forum.
seems that both our maths were wrong anyway
cheaper deal was £218 more expensive offer was £387 thats a difference of £169 x2 = £3380 -

latedeals may be ok for a UK booking. The problem abroad is its a booking service so the actual rate quoted would be in local currency.
It would be worth a phone call or email to EJH to clarify, not mentioning specifics, just whether late deals would qualify for a UK booking.0 -
I have just had confirmation through for madrid. I have gone to their section to contact them. What am i supposed to say. I have just written that i have found a hotel for the same dates cheaper on find-rooms.com, with their rate. Do i have to send a picture of that page? and how do i know if and how much they charge for cc payment?
thanks0 -

Take a screen shot of the better deal. Dont offer it initially, but keep it and offer it ONLY if the claim has hassle. ie they dispute or cant find the deal0
