Does anyone know if the account details Chip provides are unique?
Trying to transfer out to CMC and Chip doesn't appear in their drop down list. Called CMC and was told I should enter details manually. So get a field for account number and an optional field for the sort code. Can obtain both bits of info when I go into Chip and select manual pay in. This is where I also see my unique reference number.
However, I only have the account number and sort code fields when I want to initiate a transfer to CMC and fear that it will end up in chaos if I can't provide this unique reference number and they may not find it, refuse it, etc.
Hesitating if I should transfer first to a different provider e.g. Coventry and back out again?1 -

I opened a flexible cash ISA with Skipton Building Society on the 6th April which went quite well and I paid in my 25/26 allowance to the account the following day. They stated that a registration code had been posted to me which would take 2 to 3 business days and give me full access to the account. It is a flexible isa but until this registration code arrives by post I cannot access the money. I rang them last thursday and was told the letter with the registration code would be with me the following day which of course did not happen. Still no letter so still no access to most of the accounts actions.
I had thought that using a known Building Society would be less hassle than using an App based provider but I think that I may be mistaken.
Does anyone have any experience with Skipton and this registration procedure. I am mindful to ask about the 14 day cancellation in their terms but I suspect they will resist that or suggest I need to visit a Branch (none near me).
I could initiate a transfer but doubtful they would permit that.

I've always found Skipton to be very helpful.
They've got an online chat and also a freefone number as well as an app.
Communication should be very easy to sort matters out.3 -

Unless they have changed their rules and their systems in the last 24 hours, this is sadly not available to current or previous Moneybox ISA holders.4 -
