Oh dear that is poor from Shawbrook - they has some great long fixed rates and now nothing...will have to look elsewhere. Wanted to transfer today. I have a two year fix maturing with them in July as well.
I would normally have a cup of tea

Hi guys - does Chip accept and considers for interest purposes, faster payment or Open Banking deposit in on Sundays? It's going to be 6th morning soon!

    What about Tenbo and Monument?

    Thanks.
Money to Tembo (OB) and Monument (FP) arrived instantly this morning (Sunday).  I haven't used Chip for a long time, but I'm sure the transactions are instant 24/7 as it used to be.

I've recently opened a 1 year fix with Shawbrook at about 4.5% (from previously maturing ISA, opened mid-March) so I'm expecting to add to that instead.

4.76%. Flexible. Instant transactions.  Provides with a proper t&c.  No 3-month bonuses.  Funds are held in Monument bank, not randomly scattered around a variety of banks or in case of CMC held in QMMF.
I'm fed up with "bonus rates" especially as they now seem to be only for 3 months at a time. Is Monument a standalone bank, not sharing its FSCS protection with anyone else?
    Monument is standalone.  https://www.fscs.org.uk/check/check-your-money-is-protected/

Wonder if Shawbrook started to get concerned about the number of people opening long-term ISAs and not depositing anything until it’s unprofitable for them!

    (me? I would never…   :# )

Hi. Yes. I deposited £1 this morning to the Chip ISA and it added the bonus to my ISA. Mine is now 5.90%

How long did it take for the interest rate to update? I paid in £1 about 30 mins ago, but it's showing my interest rate as 4.32%

I'm tempted to put my 20k premium bonds into Chip's ISA and then see what else is around after 3 months. Any experience with Chip?
I also have ISA products with Tembo and Trading 212 so want to spread around - plus Chip is flexible which I need at the moment.

I opened a Chip ISA yesterday and put my £20k in today. It'll get me a good rate for three months while I decide what to do with the money (planning to fix some, and invest some, but undecided how much and in what).

It's flexible which is what I need. Whether I'll keep it when the bonus ends, or transfer elsewhere depends on what's available at the time.
