Just opened the Moneybox Cash ISA @ 5.39% and see it is now up to 5.56%.

I've put in my request already to transfer my existing ISA from elsewhere.

Has in a similar situation and had any luck getting them to increase the rate whilst still at a £0.00 balance ?
Back in Oct/Nov, before I funded the account they increased the rate for new applications. They wouldn't do the new rate, but did say I could delete my entire profile and re-apply from scratch.
Thanks.  Is deleting the profile something they need to do?
I don't know if 'profile' is the right word, and as I say it was a few months ago, but they definitely needed to delete everything. So I needed to start over as a new person.

All the deals of 5%+ are for new customers only and that means new to the institution and app. the only exception seems to be Zopa. I opened an ISA with them around a year ago but never funded it. They sent me the email about rate decreases and I realised that I still had this ISA open so I just closed it in the app and have the option to open the one at 5.01%, which I intend to do.
My Zopa app offers me a variable flexible Cash ISA @ 3.8%, so that's 3 different rates (me, @pecunianonolet and NewCustomer) offered for the same product (or is it 3 different products?).

Makes comparison tables, or just trying to compare 2 products, pretty useless.

same for me at Zopa, 3.8%. I had some money in a 2024-25 ISA with them that I transferred out.
My Zopa Access ISA is now showing in the app as 4.50% with an underlying rate of 4.00%. I assume is will still be falling by 0.50% on 6 April.
Hi. Same here. I had an email saying mine is being reduced on 6th April to 3.80% AER, 3.73% gross. But now shows the same as yours??
I was going to transfer out before it reduced. I think I'll wait and see what happens on the 6th April.

    Zopa cash ISA

i already have a Zopa cash isa which is a fix through until next week.

Today in the app I have access to a 4.5% variable cash isa, which I’m sure has increased since I looked what they were offering me last week

Mine is already at 4%, with no bonus. Apparently they'd offer me 3.9% - 4.4% on their fixed term ISAs, but I am not interested.

I'm seeing 4.5 on my Zopa too, but I am in the process of transferring out to Trading212 and since their 3 month bonus will drop from 5.26 to 4.5 anyway I see no advantage to cancelling the move. Can always move again if  a better rate appears elsewhere.

I only see 4% on my Zopa for an access ISA pot, which has increased today from 3.8%

Your 0.5% bonus has obviously expired, mine will too on 6th, with no offer of extension on boost.

As has been said before, it's increasingly difficult to gauge things with the differing rates offered by Zopa to different customers on this flexible ISA. It appears to me, they have no interest in retaining their existing customer base, other than those who just leave things as is. I'm just waiting for transfer to fixed with Shawbrook, which is taking longer than usual, as I had to physically sign document, but have been promised interest from the date of signing by Shawbrook, so all good there.

Great news — we’ve just increased the underlying rate on Access ISA pots. This means, when your bonus rate ends on 6th April, you’ll earn 4.00% AER* (3.92% gross**) variable — much more than you’d get at some major high street banks!†

Plus, you can now unlock even more interest by transferring a cash ISA to Zopa.

We’re offering an exclusive 3-month fixed 1.01% AER* bonus to loyal customers like you just for transferring a cash ISA to Zopa!
From an email I've just received from Zopa

If you already have a Zopa Smart ISA and transfer in at least £500 the entire balance on the Smart ISA will earn 5.01% for 3 months.

It then reverts to the standard 4.00%. I guess this only applies to the instant access pots.
