Back in mid November, I opened the latest Tescobank Instant Access Cash ISA paying 2.25%, up from 2.15% on the previous issue.  That rate remains today for new applications.  But I have only just noticed that they have increased the rate on mine to 2.40%.  Not sure when in the last few weeks this happened, but I don't recall them ever increasing rates on existing issues before.  I have always had to apply for the latest issue to get the higher rate.

If that account is one that's comprised of their "Standard Rate" but mostly a bonus amount then they have increased the base element from 0.15% to 0.5% which is why many accounts are seeing an increase

Just a heads up to anyone with an existing Paragon Triple Access ISA. All previous issues (1-11) have gone from 2.36% to 3.00% today.

    https://www.paragonbank.co.uk/savings/historic-rates (see 'Defined Cash ISA')

It's not currently available but possibly will be made available again in the coming weeks, if past experience is anything to go by.

Yesterday.  At least that is when I got an email about the rate going up.
  • Virgin Money 1 year fix up to 3.71%

  • Do the Virgin Money fixed ISA accounts show up on the app?   I just notice on moneyfacts it doesn't highlight the app icon and also can't see any mention of management via app on the actual Virgin Money page either?

They don't show up in the app, nor do they show up in the online banking page for the M Plus Current Account and Linked Saver.  They show in a separate online banking page for savings, the one where all the regular savers used to appear.

Oh well that's a bit annoying. I know that if it's a fixed rate account there's not a lot of managing involved and you are going to always know your balance and interest but I still like to have things handy on an app to just quickly check every now and again. Even more of a pain if the account isn't even accessible by the normal online banking either and is separate.  Do you even need different log in details?
  • My Flexi ISA shows up in the app. I was just considering moving that to the 2 year fix.

Yes, separate log in details too. I think this is because the Clydesdale and Virgin systems still aren't fully merged.
