It sounds like you have either Issue 2 or Issue 3, in which case, 1.5% is correct & still applies.

Woow, thanks, Lucky me then 1.5% Interest.
I believe 1.5% is currently the best rate for instant access flexible cash ISA.
I just notice in the documentation, it does not mention any issue on it, But I believe indeed it is either Issue 2 or 3 as I opened it in 2012 (not 2013 as I previously mentioned).

Then its probably the first issue, which funnily enough, didn't have an issue number:p, but which apparently became Issue 2.

You can always find the current interest rate if you use the link I provided, although, as you've seen, Nationwide actually display the interest rate in your online banking.

    Thanks Nessie23
My application is now in the post .. when I spoke to Saffron Head Office they confirmed it will be pulled tomorrow but applications will still be accepted provided they are received by Thursday 21st April. An application form can be downloaded from the Saffron Website.

Details of the regular saver ISA have indeed now been withdrawn from the list of Cash ISA products available to new investors on the Saffron website.

Had a letter today from Nationwide - Flexclusive ISA ISA Issue 9 drops from 1.6% to 1.2% on June 1 2016. The letter doesn't spell it out but it sounds as if all issues will drop to 1.2%.

Punjab National Bank 2.5% 5 year ISA. Suggests on recommendation sites that accounts can only be opened in branches. Has anyone had any success opening one of these accounts by mail?
Nearest branch for me is over 100 miles. This is how desperate we are getting to find a half decent rate.

I have Issue 8, no letter yet, but I expect its only just a matter of time:(.

I'm using mine as a holding account for a soon to mature Santander FRISA & HSBCs Save Together, until I feel ready to transfer the lot into S&S ISA.

Either that, or blow the lot on a round the world cruise or something equally self indulgent:o

I can confirm that postal applications are now accepted. This is a fairly new situation for Punjab. You will require a certified copy of a passport or driving licence. Also an original utility bill. The ISA application form is a little confusing as to the type of ISA you can apply for. In the first instance your money goes into a variable account and then is transferred to a FR account .. term as you may request. I suggest you write an accompanying letter to spell out the actual ISA you want.

The Teachers BS 90 day ISA (1.4%) is stated as accepting Transfers In.
In fact it is for new money only

The Holmsdale BS ISA is only for local residents and existing members.

Danske is also listed as accepting transfers in and operated by branch, internet or post, which in theory it does..... However, the only way you can apply to transfer in is to visit a branch, so effectively making it a non-transfer in product for those of us who do not live in Ireland or near London.
