Cash ISAs: The Best Currently Available List

However most of the easy-access say no transfers avaliable, does this mean I couldn't take some of the money out of my current ISA, into a current account and then pay it into the new ISA?
No it doesn't mean that - withdrawing into an intermediate account and then paying in as a new subscription will be absolutely fine. Just consider whether it's the best home for your money versus high interest current accounts etc, as you are presumably talking about an amount <£15k.0 -

Beware that these jokers are very busy apparently. So busy, that to open the ISA I needed an appointment, and the nearest one was on the 19th only - 10 days ahead.

I walked in on April 6th and walked out 10 minutes later with a shiny new ISA.

A bit unfair to call them jokers. I've always found them very helpful and having some excellent products.
I've never had a problem walking into Sheffield branch and opening accounts. They are also happy to close branch accounts by post to HQ for people living outside their core area.0 -
Foes anyone knows whether NW Flexclusive ISa allow Transfer in from OLD MONEY.
http://www.nationwide.co.uk/products/savings/flexclusive-isa/features-and-benefits
I am aware from their website, it says
"transfers accepted from other Nationwide ISAs and external providers"
I already have Flexclusive ISA with them with balance of about £1. The last time about 6 month ago I was told by their phone banking team that I cannot transfer in the OLD money. It is only for the NEW ISA or new money for the current tax year.
I am aware that not all of NW phone banking team know well their own product, so I am asking member of this forum.
Has anyone successfully for a transfer in using OLD money to NW Flexclusive ISA?
thanks0 -
Last year I opened it and transferred my ISA from FD to it.0

It's not a rocket science, and if they are incapable of doing this online, why cashiers can't do this or, at least, accept an application and make the necessary copies? There were two of them in the empty branch.0 -
