  • Sainsbury Bank appear to offer a Variable Rate (instant access) ISA that accepts transfers-in. The rate is 1.45%, comparable with other entries listed but without the complication of a bonus, (e.g. Tesco ISA).

    Worth a look?
  • Maybe I'm not looking properly, but I can't see if the Newcastle Home Saver ISA is just for a 12 month term, or if you can leave your funds in there and carry on saving at the same (variable) rate after the first year?

The Newcastle Big Home Saver ISA has no end date - which is great because as long as you pay something in each moth, you keep getting the rate. I've had an account for about 2 and half years now, and still get the rate :-) It's good because you can build up quite an amount over time and get the good rate on the entire balance.

Obviously the rate is variable, so there is nothing to stop Newcastle BS from reducing the rate etc.
