Is there any reason that the Nationwide Online ISA Issue 2 has disappeared from the "top cash ISAs"? It's paying 3.10% on balances above £25k. I'm pretty sure it used to be in the list but not now.0

Hello all,
Anyone have any thoughts or feedback on the new M&S Cash ISA..?
Cheers
Yes, I opened the new M&S Advantage Cash ISA yesterday, as my fixed rate ISA with them had recently matured. It doesn't have any bonus rate of interest and looks like a good deal. I will be transferring some of my other ISAs to them too.
I tried to add the M&S ISA to list yesterday evening, but was unable to because the forum was down for maintenance. I have now added it and the Halifax revised fixed rate ISA rates. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -

The Nationwide Online ISA has been on the list of ISAs on the first page for some time. Maybe your Internet browser is displaying a cached page?
Here is where the ISA is on the list:
[*]Nationwide Online ISA - 3.10%
Rate guarantee? Yes, fixed until 31/01/2013. Rate effective from: 11/11/2011.
Minimum deposit: £25,000 (to qualify for the higher rate). Operated via: Internet.
Important: After 31/01/2013 reverts to variable rate. Unlimited withdrawals.

Update According to the woman i spoke to manager at cheshire branch they do let credits into the account.
There seemed to be confusion amongst Cheshire staff about this. When I called them when the ISA first launched, the advisor told me that it didn't accept transfers in. At the time, the terms and conditions hadn't yet been uploaded to the Cheshire website, though the ISA was there.
Even Moneyfacts is still listing it as not allowing transfers in, see here.
However, the terms and conditions are now available to download from the Cheshire website (PDF). Under condition 12.b. it states:b. If you wish to transfer all or part of a cash ISA you hold with another ISA manager to us:
i. On receipt of a transfer instruction from you, we will send it to the other manager together with a confirmation that we will accept the transfer within 5 business days of the date of receipt.
I am going to move it to the variable rate ISA transfers section but I will also contact Cheshire again tomorrow. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -

That is part of the General ISA Terms and Conditions.
Under the Direct Cash ISA T&Cs (condition 2), it says:This account can only accept new subscriptions and it is not possible to add previous ISA subscriptions into this account.0 -
The rates for the M&S fixed ISAs have increased:
http://money.marksandspencer.com/save-invest/cash-isa/overview/#further-details
Ts&Cs as before, but they now pay:
3.25% for 1 year
3.5% for 2 years
3.75% for 3 years
Have used them before (and now) and their admin is efficient.0 -
For direct Cash ISA i1
They do not allow transfer in from previous year subscription. I called them about a week ago in two different time and persons. Both confirmed no transfer in is allowed. Also from the summary there is no indication that transfer in from previous year subscription is allowed,
http://www.thecheshire.co.uk/ISAs/Direct-Cash-ISA/
I have not read it through but it might be the T&C below are for general T&C for ISA and not specifically refer to direct Cash ISA i1.
For £3.06% where you could only put maximum £3640 is hardly a good product. I fully believe in late march later next month there will be few ISA products of this kind offering higher interest rate. There seemed to be confusion amongst Cheshire staff about this. Dear All
Has anyone benefited from "ISA promise", the new provider promise to pay interest start from the day they receive the transfer from, not the day they receives the money. In the meanwhile the old provider will keep paying the interest rate until the date where the ISA money were actually transferred. As the trasfer might take about two weeks, we will benefit it earning interest of the same money twice ....
What I a thinking here is that people could use this from say Halifax ISA Direct Reward i4 (when the interest rate have been announce to drop in the following month) to Nationwide Online ISA who offer this feature.
I believe people will be earning interest twice using this loophole, but opinion from other people are greatly appreciated.0
