Hope it's not wrong... will also have to check O/H's. The halifax banking login causes me to slightly lose the will to live
The Reward current account is separate from the ISA.
To get the 3/3.2% ISA, just put your account details in to https://www.halifax.co.uk/isaupgrade.
It may take a few weeks before the higher rate shows up on internet banking, but you'll still be earning the higher rate from the date that you fill in the online form.0 -

I am assuming that you have recently opened the Halifax ISA Direct Reward 4, either to simply accept previous tax year's/years' Cash ISA transfer(s) or to accept the current tax year's subscriptions plus a transfer and are concerned that it appears to have been opened as an incorrect ISA account.
rb10 appears to assume that you have held the ISA for some time and are trying to get it redesignated to an ISA Direct Reward 4.
Perhaps you could clarify which interpretation (if either) is correct?0 -

Principality have now withdrawn their 3 year fixed ISA which gave 3.22% and replaced it with a new issue offering 3.70% (not too sure if it will still make it into the best available list with that rate!)

Took 30 minutes on the phone to get the account open, they said that the system automatically kicks out any requests for this ISA if you have opened another this year, be warned !!0

........... Unless you have already opened (note the term opened and not contributed this year's funds) an ISA with them this year. I have a fix maturing shortly which I want to transfer and it has taken them a week and a half to let me know they don't want my money. Nowhere in the t&c's does it mention this so I will have to phone them tomorrow. Does this go down as yet another incompetent bank, should have spotted the warning signs when they cocked opening up the first account.
That certainly did not used to be the case. It is possible that this is a Lloyds TSB policy that has transferred across to Halifax as well.0 -
