Surely its someone else's turn to be the bearer of bad news?

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

yeah I think you've done your fair share :P

I wear whatever hoodies are lying round the house, I'm not entirely sure a Lostprophets or Slipknot hoodie can be described as chavvy though :P

Slipknot! That takes me back about 5 years to when my son would only wear black clothes, Slipknot and AC/DC stuff
I was happy enough to indulge his phase but I still treasure teh day he announced he was ready for a bit of colour! We still have the hoodies and Tshirts for the memories.

Dont buy clothes from a sports shop unless your doing sports and most of all dont wear trainers unless your doing sports, espcially not with jeans:)

Agree with this. But then I wouldn't be seen dead in a hoodie or trainers lol

If you're going to wear one don't do huge brand names across them and don't wear trainers lol

    Why not trainers?

What do you wear instead, I never find anything else is as comfortable?

I don't wear them going out for dinner or anything, but i wear them round house, and out shopping or whatever.

I haven't worn trainers since P.E at school-I don't play sports and I hate the look and feel of them.Whenever I've tried anything like that on I've felt slobby rather than comfortable:o I don't think they're comfortable at all!

I wear nice shoes and boots! I loooooove shoes :D

I suppose its what your used too - I wear boots to work and to church and going out, but trainers are for everyday wear to me.

I don't feel as if I can walk any distance in anything other than trainers, I used to walk to work (2-3mile) and would wear my suit and trainers and then change into my shoes in work!

I must admit it does sound a bit chavvy. A pinky-red Lonsdale hoody from a cheap'n'chavvy sports shop :rotfl:

But I think you should wear it just to embarrass your son :p:rotfl:

I think you should wear it and get photographed with your DS whilst kissing him and stroking his hair. :rotfl::rotfl:

Dare I ask where you're flying to?

I made the mistake of taking my DS to my x mother in law's to visit in Belgium with a Lonsdale hoody a few years back, my mother in law turned into the MIL from hell upon seeing him.

Seems all the neo nazi groups in Europe wear a lot of Lonsdale stuff. Still it meant my DS had a shopping trip where he got some new kit courtesy of the MIL.
