Money For Your Phone

Has anyone had any dealings with this company, I sent my phone to them 4 weeks ago in the prepaid envelope they sent me and when I got in touch with them they said they haven't received it.:(

They tell you to use recorded delivery (for phones worth up to £30), or special delivery for more valuable items.

Assuming you did, then approach royal mail for compensation.

When sending a valuable phone any reasonable person would have used at least a recorded signed for post, wouldn't they?

    depends on the service used.
some scenarios using a prepaid envelope(therefore a business service) carries no compensation

    This obviously doesn't apply here!

The firm wouldn't be telling their customers which service to use for which level of compensation if/when the phones get lost in the post were it a waste of money!

Compensation applies regardless of who pays for the postage, however the sender will need to have proof the items was posted, and a Certificate of Postage to escalate a claim for compensation.

obviously? well I'll leave you to provide expert knowledge.
As it stands the firm will lose £0
RD covers beyond £30,so the advice isnt exactly accurate.
Adding RD changes the product to retail.

The firm know they aren't responsible when the postie nicks the phones, (or they mysteriously disappear somehow), hence the reason why they tell the customers to use recorded or special delivery!

So you stated claim compensdation from RM.
However you don't know the service used on the 'prepaid' envelope?
