NOW you tell me!:D I've got another 70 tins of Applaws kitten and three big bags of dry to get through first. She eats it and is thriving so I'll probably keep her on it for the time being before switching her over to an Orijen dry/Bozita wet mix when she's grown.0 -
Upload to something like a photobucket or similar first.
Copy the photo's code.
Click on the PHOTO icon - paste the photo code (link) in the window that comes up.. done0 -

I know how to do all that but it's at this website - it won't let me put any links in, or any photos. Do I have to contact a moderator to activate it or something?0 -

A couple of old blankets/jumpers will make do for a bed- if the owner is happy for you too, ask if you can rub it on their mum to get the scent.
Be careful with scratching posts, my cat rubs against them and it pulls his fur out. A quick smack when they start scratching your furniture will tell them not to do it again. Or a spritz with a watergun!
Thanks for this! She's obsessed with it. Everything else gets ignored and she'll play with these for hours.:D0 -
I'm a bit late in joining the thread but in my mind there IS one thing you forgot from your list....

Two is no more work than one and twice the fun....0 -

Can I ask if it's unusual for a kitten to throw up twice in three weeks? The food's always undigested and the being sick never stops her from being her. Almost instantly she's back hurtling around the house at 90mph like Usain Bolt on speed.
While I'm here, I've noticed the big tom hanging around more - he spent all last night screaming the bloody place down outside our window - despite it throwing buckets down. She can't possibly be in season but is there anything else we should worry about?0 -

Success! It's something to do with post counts or something. I'm still not clear on why I couldn't post before.0 -
Hi
Where did you hear re Applaws wet being complimentary? I can't see it on their website.
Thanks

We thought we were prepared for the manic kitten stage but NOTHING can prepare you for the manic (maniac?) kitten stage. She's thrown herself off every bit of furniture we've got, and she runs up and down the bloody stairs like a fat bride-to-be desperate to fit into her size 44 wedding marquee. I say she runs down, she doesn't, she throws herself off the top stair and somehow manages to not kill herself when she lands at the bottom.
I should like to voice a little warning about Zooplus/Applaws kitten wet food. Applaws have changed the recipe of their wet kitten food so it is now a complete food, just like their dry, but Zooplus only has old stock, so now I have 96 tins of wet kitten food that is basically for treats only. I only discovered this after finishing the tins I'd bought from P@H and starting on the Zooplus ones - the texture and contents are noticeably different. Unfortunately I'd already undone all the packaging by the time I'd discovered this so I can't send them back.
Saying that she seems to be thriving on the mix of the wet and the complete dry food and the odd bit of meat and fish.
She also had her first injections this week and she was a delight. She wasn't even fazed by the needle or the being at the vets, even if she did try and take a swipe at an enthusiastic labrador that ventured too close to her basket.
And she has so far destroyed every toy that she's been given. Including TWO stick/dangler things. Which she holds in her mouth and then launches around the house, regardless of danger of death. She's going to be the death of me.0
