Kittens are very curious and will end up being hurt falling off or out of something. Also you should neuter your kitten before it goes out.:)
Thank you. She's going to be neutered when she's five/six months old and then won't be let out for some time after that. Probably not until the new year.
We've got to somehow introduce her to next door's cats who are always hanging around here - hopefully they won't become territorial, they aren't usually.
I do have one massive worry about it all - there's a massive un-neutered tom that's always hanging around (neighbour feeds it) because its owners are terrible. Our neighbour's cats are all done so it doesn't usually bother with them, other than to get a quick swipe when it annoys them despite being twice the size of them :rotfl:. Any tips on keeping a highly-sexed giant away from her? Until we can teach her Krav Maga or something anyway!:D0 -

Ermmm the idea is to keep your kitten indoors until she is spayed, not the other way round :rotfl:“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

I know, but I wasn't joking when I said this tom is a giant. He's basically a Labrador in cat form!0 -

As long as you keep her indoors and get her booked in to be spayed before she comes into season then you should be ok.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
my kittens came into season at 4 months of age they werent allowed to be spayed as they were too small so i had them done at 5 months

That's going to be a fun summer then! No windows or doors open and a kitten screaming the place down for a shag!:rotfl:
The rescue have put a picture up on their fb page of her when she was 2weeks old and then when she was 6weeks so ill post that and then in the week I'll take some proper ones of her at home.:D

If you remove the space between the two ts, it should come up. Won't let me for some reasons so if someone could do it for me, that would be wonderful.0

You don't need fancy toys, rolled up bits of newspaper will do fine. I have brought those balls with little bells in for about £1 for 3. A couple of old blankets/jumpers will make do for a bed- if the owner is happy for you too, ask if you can rub it on their mum to get the scent.
Be careful with scratching posts, my cat rubs against them and it pulls his fur out. A quick smack when they start scratching your furniture will tell them not to do it again. Or a spritz with a watergun!Society always tramples down on those that are different. Abnormalities are smoothed over. I strive to be a wrinkle.0 -

I don't think I'll be resorting to violence - against the cat anyway.0
