I have cleared the kitchen table and pin board of paperwork - mostly it was old receipts that were binned.
Also I tackled a few hot spot dumping areas for junk. And sorted a few minor admin things that have been sat on the side for ever.

Horrible big spider running across the towel rail as I got out of the shower! And we don't know where it has gone. However, newly decluttered bathroom at least means I didn't knock half a dozen bottles of stuff over as I leapt out of the way. A brief spell of sunshine here so hoping to do something about the garden.

Just been down to our local Carnival to have a look round the charity stalls: it seemed to be quite difficult to donate cash without getting something back! They see me as a person who wants to give a teddybear (or 20!) a good home... :rotfl:

But I stood firm. And only have useful or edible things.

Oh goodness. It looks like a serious hoarder lioves here now.. The bulkof our stuff is now moved, but we are exhausted and disgusted at the places dog hair and filth hides to evade my regular and obviously insufficient cleaning.

Nothing sold on my fleabay listings, Oh well, will try once more and that's it. I thought the L Ashley curtains would have done well.

Declutterd 10 flies in the bedroom, have no idea why there were so many, so a bit spooked....yuk...

Not just clearing them, proper take-everything-out-sort-through-it-clean-the-shelves-with-bleach-find-the-ladder-and-do-the-top-of-the-cupboards-and...

......what do I do with a collection of old knives? They're rubbish as kitchen knives but they're still 'weapons grade' IYSWIM.

Where do old, unused kitchen knives go to die?

All I've got left to do is the cupboard under the sink......._pale_. A toxic combo of creosote, weedkiller, cleaning goodies, caustic soda and laundry goods.

I'll leave that another day.

You could take the (sharp?) knives to the recycling centre and ask them. They may be able to pass them on to a suitable home or recycle them safely.

Or phone the police non-emergency number 101. If they are community minded they may know how to get rid of them without causing risk. If they had a weapons amnesty like they do sometimes, you could just take them along. If they're not community minded, they may think you (or rather me for suggesting it) are/is barking mad!

In the bin, just wrap them in cardboard and put in wheelie, its all machine done from there onwards
