    group-hug2-smiley.gif Thanks
Well the day didn't get any better but it didn't get any worse either so thats a bonus :)
DH gets paid tomorrow and it's food shopping day. Popped to Aldi after work this evening but nothing except chinese pork on offer spya-smiley.gif so passed on that one.
I have decided that some things are worth spending a bit extra on....
    1. Bubble bath---cheaper ones don't foam anywhere near as much
    2. Sausages- Aldi ones are too 'fragrant' for my liking
    3. Sweetcorn--Aldi sweetcorn is just smiley-sick007.gif
    4. Fabric softner--Aldi stuff is too watery and you use far too much.

Other things i have found to be cheaper but nicer imo are....
    1. Aldi crisps...much nicer than Walkers licklips-smiley-face.gif
    2. Aldi Cauliflower cheese ....smiley-love008.gif
    3. Any Aldi biscuits but especially digestives very buttery and yum :)

    Morning Sista

    How are you?

Oooh you definitely need lots of bubbles smiley-chores026.gif so it's worth spending on. I love the bubble bars from Lush, I always ask for them for Christmas & bdays :)

Ooh the snow fairy shower gel is amazing from Lush - I may put it on my christmas list this year! (it's only out in December) :)

My friend always gets me a bottle for Crimbo and I bought the biggest size in the sale so I have another to last me until they come out again :D
I got the bubble bar wand as well :)

Checked bank today and for the first time in years i'm in the black 1 week before payday !! stare-screen-smiley.gif couldn't believe it. I have £500 and DH has 1 more payday next week before i get paid so should be able to make overpayments this month

Added to that the fact i've already overpaid one of them by £90 this month i'm pretty pleased very-happy-smiley.gif
Gave the kids £5 each today plus got them a drink and treat from the shop this morning. So they're happy. :)

waiting1-smiley.gif still waiting for my ££ from HMRC i am sooo impatient :D

Shopping today so -£80 and will need to put more petrol in before payday next week -£65 and DH will want his smokes and lottery but i'm hoping to save at least £400 towards our debts.
2nd savings account open now so that's started with £10 towards what i'm calling our 'car' fund for tax and mot :T

Never before have i started saving for things they've always just gone on the plastic wagfinger2-smiley.gif but no more. This is the new me .....and i'm liking it so far :)

wave-smiley.gif to everyone who has said about the lush bath stuff but i find it brings me out in a rash!

pizza-smiley.gif tonight from Aldi, really nice actually considering it was only £1.50 :D
:Dent food shopping with DH, ended up in 3 supermarkets. Aldi for main shop £57 then DH went to Adsa for ice cream (cheaper than Aldi) dog treats, stuffed pasta. Spent £10
I then popped to Morrisons for bread rolls and ainsley harriet lentil curry things (don't sell them anywhere else so bought £10 packets of them!!) shy-smiley.gif they are nice though...

Also got fabric softner as Aldi one is pants. Spent £15
Total for all food spend today £82 so only slightly over our £80 budget. :T
DH watching scorer-smiley.gif so Aldi beer and peanuts purchased with the shop. I think this is the key to it, not depriving yourself of absolutely everything. If you treat yourself (bottle of wine, beer, box of chocs) anything really then it makes all this more bearable....
love-shower-smiley.gif for all the lovely comments :o we're all in this together.

I did have a flabbergasted-smiley.gif moment again today, just thinking about the amount we owe :( it's so scary how we got into this mess. DH is not in a permanent job at the moment so i'm stressing that that may go wrong too. We will persevere and keep a PMA multi-stars-smiley.gif
