Well done on breaking the 19k stage0

Thanks
Talking to DH earlier and he is really positive about the whole cutting back. He even thinks we should set an 18 month deadline to clear the debts  i'm not too sure, although he says it's better to tighten belts hard for a shorter amount of time for financial gain sooner. Whereas i think it will take us a lot longer...
It's really hard to use the snowball calculator seeing as my wage is not a guaranteed amount each month. Our aim is to stay in the black all month by watching the pennies and whatever we're left with on the following pay day can go towards the debt, whether that be £100 or £1000.
 Good plan i think. My mum asked me what i wanted for our anniversary, she knows we're paying debts so is happy just to give us the ££ so this will helpDEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0 -
Well today (don't laugh) i'm going to attempt 2 recipes from the grocery board
considering i don't cook AT ALL this will be no mean feat for me.
I'm going to try the coconut cake and apple muffins but might use apricotswe'll see.

Good luck with the cooking, it really is fun to do once you get the hang of it. Really love your diary you are such a positive person, so I've had to subscribe :-)

Yeah! Good luck with the baking - coconut cake is one of my absolute favourites and is quite easy. Mmm, apple muffins, warm and sprinkled with cinnamon and caster sugar, fresh from the oven... They never last long! Going to try lemon muffins (a la a certain coffeehouse) next so whoo hoo.
Good job DH is on board - that does make it easier. Try to work to a compromise, as if anything happens to cause a setback it can be disappointing (and demoralising) if you can't meet your target. Progress is more important than how quick you get there

'Cakes' made today :rotfl: in the loose sense of the word
Made coconut 'cakes' and rice crispy cake things (well kids made those) on the plus side it's all edible:) (just)
I'm just not cut out for baking, or cooking for that matterah well. My skills are better used.....um.......well......debt busting, yes that's it....debt busting is what i will be good at
Just come back from Morrisons and Aldi to try and get some bargains before closing. Guess what? NOTHING!!!!! absolutely zero. In fact the shelves in Morrisons were empty  maybe i was too late?
Forgot to add, used my advantage points to buy my hair dye earlier so £6 saved

Morning Sista - Glad the baking went well. I bet your not as bad as you think, and you know if you cook more from scratch it can save you more in the long run..:money: Although I think coconut cake and rice crispie cakes are not a staple food, so you may need to branch out a little more :rotfl:.
Anyway just wanted to say well done you seem to be still be debt busting, and the fact that DH is with you is great news.:T2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.

Hey Sista
Send me some coconut cakeand I'll let you know what I think!!
I got a couple of things in Mr As reduced yesterday but there wasn't a lot and we were there about 2.30 so really late? Our local Mr Ts is rubbish though, they hardly knock anything off the price and I won't pay nearly full price for yellow stickered stuff
Hope you have a great debt busting day xLBM 24/05/2012 :TAugust NSD 10/12 * £2 savers0 -

Hey Sista,
Sorry you are feeling a little low..But today should be a positive day..Look at all the great things you have done so far in this diary.
I hear you on waiting for other people to do things they promise - sadly they do not have the same level of urgency that people on here do:rotfl:
But look once it all goes through that will be lower numbers again hitting your signature - Now that deserves :T
Have a good day xx2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.
