So agree on the supermarket thing, I'd just throw stuff in and then get out the card to pay, and half the time I didn't have anything that would make a meal.

Also agree you really appreciate it more when you don't do that, somehow the treat things become special again, maybe because I'm not haveing them every day :)

  • :wave:Hi Sista

Loving the energy on your diary, :D

I love aldi too, i refused to shop there before my LBM (being a snob!) After LBM it became my best friend, as did Approved foods & the reduced aisle in the SM's! :rotfl: I've managed to cut my budget from £500+ a month  like lots of others on here I used to just pick up whatever i fancy and throw it in the trolley then take a pick of a CC to pay for it :o Now i have a meal planner and BIG shopping list :rotfl: I get everything apart from fresh stuff on payday ...and when hubby is around we visit the cash & carry to stock up on stuff that is cheaper in bulk. I sometimes go over my budget but that is usually when i have a month off from meal planning :o

Our pay day is also Friday and you are doing better than us! I have 10p in the current account :rotfl: (still better than minus 10 eh lol)
