It would be easier if you could close old eSaver's online, but even with the option of being able to close old accounts over the phone is a blessing.
Halifax require you to write in to their 'Closure Department' to have your online accounts closed.Never let the perfume of the premium overpower the odour of the risk0 -

I didn't call them. I just sent them a private message when logged in.
Next time I looked they had closed the old account and transferred the outstanding interest to the new one.:)“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.” --Upton Sinclair0 -

¿Por qu! no escribir en Ingl!s?
Why don't you write in English?“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.” --Upton Sinclair0 -

I understand thats just for marketing purposes to decide what sort of spam to send you. It doesn't really matter what you describe your job as. I just put 'retired'.“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.” --Upton Sinclair0 -

Thanks - opened online in a matter of seconds and transferred my issue 4 funds to it.
Only weird-ism I'm seeing is the eSaver 5 doesn't appear in my "Quick Transfer" drop down 'From' box - have I forgotten to do something there? I can still transfer it using Payments & Transfers>Transfer Between My Accounts, but it's nicer having the "Quick Transfer" option.
Anyone else see this or have I forgotten to 'add' it somewhere?
Muchos gracias0 -
You need to add the account.
On the 'Your accounts' page select add, remove or rename an account which is located in the centre of the screen in the grey shaded area. You can then display them how you wish.
I personally rename mine to display FULL account name and interest rates. Saves a lot of searching if you forget etc.0
