There is now an offical CAB section with advise from CAB advisors.
Would it worth putting up questions and playing devils advocate, or asking why they give such bad advice on ppc's

To be fair to CAB advisers many who are volunteers, their advise on PPC matters is normally crap. However we can say to a poster ignore the PPC, and if, and we know its a big if the PPC does issue a claim we can all duck!
Unfortunately CAB would have to cover their own backside as well!
Off the record I bet most would say ignore them, but on the record Hmmmmmm?
We have seen some posters saying their solicitors have said "you need to pay it" as you entered a contract??????0 -

You have to laugh or you'd weep! The shocking thing is, the CAB SHOULD be able to answer this question!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Maybe we want serious, informed answers to simple questions put to the CAB.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No. So you have an axe to grind. So what tbh. Trolling a different forum won't achieve anything, other than tieing up resources other users of this website could be using seriously. Stick to prank calls to Parking Eye if you need to do something to amuse yourself. They're your enemy, not the CAB.0
