Right.....Have you heard the one about the woman who gets on a bus with her baby.
The bus driver says: “Ugh, that’s the ugliest baby I’ve ever seen!” The woman walks to the rear of the bus and sits down, fuming. She says to a man next to her: “The driver just insulted me!” The man says: “You go up there and tell him off. Go on, I’ll hold your monkey for you.

    Good afternoon everyone :)

I must apologise for my grumpiness yesterday :o, I blame the stinking cold I have at the moment :(

Thank you Fudge-cake for your kinds words. I'm afraid I'm a glass is bone dry kind of person and find it really difficult sometimes to see the brighter side of things like you manage to every day.
note to self, must try harder to be more positive about things :o

3dogs, I read your post last night and realy wanted to say something, but just didn't know what to say. You and Alan are very brave people and as many other have said, you are an inspiration to us all. I'm so sorry to here that Mr3dogs has such a painful day yesterday and I do hope that you manage to work out the right level of painkillers for him soon.
Please be careful as to how much he takes though. My dad is on huge amounts of painkillers and morphine and has been now for many months. Unfortunately the morphine makes him very confused and sleepy a lot of the time and, although it helps a lot with the pain, it does not make it all go away and the longer he takes the painkillers, the more immune his body becomes to them.

I'm sorry, I don't mean this to sound negative and obviousley Mr3dogs is only just starting to find which pain killers work best for him and there is no need for him to suffer any pain, I just want your time together to be happy and pain free.

Lots of love and hugs to you both as always xx

Now can someone please tell me why I didn't get of my backside and do my garden in the sun yesterday and why I left it till today when it's decided to rain

I've got a lurcher, she is the lazyest thing about. We take her for an hour max to run round the park and by that time is up she's fit for nothing, lays on the back seat of the car, sometimes has to be coaxed out to go into the house where she finds a comfy spot and sleeps for hours or until dinner time comes around :rotfl:

The only problem we have is steping around her and getting dirty looks from her when we clean up around her.
They are fantastic pets for people who don't have loads of time to walk them as they do most of their exercise in short quick bursts.
my cousin has my dogs bro and sis along with a small lurcher, 4 lab crosses, a boarder terrier and a collie along with my lurcher and boxer cross. He said that if he had got the lurchers sooner he would have stuck to that breed because they're easily looked after

Hi, Freddies Flyers Two, I have a lurcher and got her from a rescue centre and agree totally with SpirallingDown. My pup is so intelligent, and gentle. She is quick to learn and loves having a mad 5 minutes off the lead, but once I clip her on the lead she walks well, and in the house is a total couch potato!
I wouldnt think twice about having a lurcher now!!!

Any chance of a pic of the puppy? enjoy!:T:T:T:T

Thanks for the heads up Trouty :)
Think I'll leave it for now! ;)

I updated my S2 to ICs about 6 weeks ago. I've not had any problems. I'm on Vodafone. I couldn't get it to do it through Kies so I made sure my phone was fully charged, in a good Wifi spot (in work) and went to my menu, settings, and upgraded in there. It will tell you if there is an update available or not.

Some of the new features are cool and the battery life is better with ICS. :D

I got my S3 last night though so the S2 will be going to the daughter. I just need to cut my SIM card up first as the S3 is bloody microSIM! Argh.:rotfl:
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

They have this as an app aw well. I did it for quite a while then got bored and gave up:D. It was quite good though for making me think about what I was eating and drinking.

Thanks. I do have the ap on my phone, but I'm not great using it!
I'm sure the novelty of using the site will wear off very quickly.
