Been lurkering since yesterday, didn't have much time to post.
Been trying to upgrade my Galaxy S2 but not having much joy with it, starting to make me :mad: Looks like it's going to do it and then nothing, it just stops. Think I'll give up, it works fine as it is anyways

Today is planning day for T's tomorrow Still got a JTD to use and needs some fridge essentials, don't want to 'waste' it though, want to make sure I get another JTD back!

Here's a question for you please, I picked up a womble the other day and put it in using a yopmail account, but I've had no results back and that was on Monday. Is it playing at funny boogers again? Or is it just my shocking bad luck?! TIA

Are you trying to upgrade to ICS ?

I was reading the other day that alot of people aren't happy with it so it may be worthwhile waiting till they sort out the problems.

If you want to install it are you doing it via Samsung Kies ?

Hope you find some good homes for your puppies, ToNik. I'd love to have a doggie (I've only been in a dog-free house since moving to the UK my parents always had doggies) but sadly living on my own, working random 7.5h shifts, 12 hour shifts and night shifts, I don't think it would be healthy for a widdle doggie. Maybe if one day I get someplace with a nice big backyard for a doggie to play in while I'm away... I do miss having them around, though. My mum has microchipped the smallest dog and had him vaccinated so he can come and visit me sometime, but don't think my usual airlines do animal transport so don't think that's going to happen in a while.

Yeah trying to get ICS.

I downloaded Samsung Kies and installed it and everything seemed fine, plugged the phone and it came up that the update was available so it seemed to do the first bit (can't remember what it was but it went too 100%) then something else started up and it just keeps saying 'preparing firmware upgrade components' and there's a status bar going backwards and forwards but it never actually does anything. Really quite annoying!

Maybe I'll take it as a sign it's not meant to be then, seeing as I've tried a few times and even tried uninstalling Kies and installing it again. It works fine as it is, so maybe I'll just leave it, I'm not very techy anyways so it's probably for the best!
