Morning all
Been lurkering since yesterday, didn't have much time to post.
Been trying to upgrade my Galaxy S2 but not having much joy with it, starting to make me  Looks like it's going to do it and then nothing, it just stops. Think I'll give up, it works fine as it is anyways
Today is planning day for T's tomorrowStill got a JTD to use and needs some fridge essentials, don't want to 'waste' it though, want to make sure I get another JTD back!
Here's a question for you please, I picked up a womble the other day and put it in using a yopmail account, but I've had no results back and that was on Monday. Is it playing at funny boogers again? Or is it just my shocking bad luck?! TIA...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

My Tuesday one came back yesterday, so I would say either bad luck or the email is sitting in some yopmail spam collection out in cyberspace.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I've got a lurcher, she is the lazyest thing about. We take her for an hour max to run round the park and by that time is up she's fit for nothing, lays on the back seat of the car, sometimes has to be coaxed out to go into the house where she finds a comfy spot and sleeps for hours or until dinner time comes around :rotfl:
The only problem we have is steping around her and getting dirty looks from her when we clean up around her.
They are fantastic pets for people who don't have loads of time to walk them as they do most of their exercise in short quick bursts.
my cousin has my dogs bro and sis along with a small lurcher, 4 lab crosses, a boarder terrier and a collie along with my lurcher and boxer cross. He said that if he had got the lurchers sooner he would have stuck to that breed because they're easily looked after
Thats so good to hear & fits in with what they were telling us at Dogs Trust & what Ive read up on last night. They seem like the ideal breed for us, I think I may have fallen a tad in love with it & am trying not to let my heart rule my head but other than the cons of having any dog, I can think of a reason why he wouldnt fit in. He is adorable & we went back with the kids last night to see him & they love him too:T I now need to find lots of Dog related glitches as we have nothing for pets.Mr 3Dogs started the day ok. Alarm went off at 8 am and he got up about 8.30 to have shave and shower. However he couldn't manage a shave as he couldn't stand and lean over the basin long enough. He did have a shower, but came back into the bedroom feeling rotten and in pain. I did our breakfast cereal and he could only eat half. I gave him his morning meds including the new slow release morphine and he went back to bed. After a half hour he was still in pain so I gave him some orimorph and he tried to get some rest
He slept on and off but the pain remained, and he had his lunch-time meds and orimorph and slept a bit more. I went out to take a king size mattress to the tip - you should have seen me getting that out of the house, to the car, and into the back of the car  You would have laughed, and cried, at the struggle I had but I did it and now it is gone :j. I then called at Tosco as my disabled neighbour had asked if I could get a couple of bits and when I got home, I found that the doctor had tried to ring me about 10 minutes before I got in. It was pointless trying to ring back as he would have just been trying between appointments. I did think he may ring later but he didn't, so will have to wait until he rings or comes tomorrow
I have just settled Alan in bed - he has had all his meds today and his last orimorph but is in agony with the sharp pain in his right side if he moves so much as an inch. There is nothing more I can give him or do for him, except try to make him comfy, and I am sitting here in tears typing this as I feel so useless and he is in such pain
I will have to ring the surgery first thing and ask the doc to ring as soon as possible. He did prescribe 10mg and 15 mg but told him to take the 10 mg to see if that is enough, but it looks like he needs the stronger dose ...... and I think I will give him that in the morning
So I've done no catching up today - I may do a little now but wwill be in bed soon so will say goodnight now and hope that tomorrow brings a better day
I hope Alan is feeling better today, it's probably the change in his meds thats caused the extra pain, so hopefully the Dr will be able to help. Im thinking of you & sending huge hugs to you both. I went through a similar situation with my mum & know how difficult it is to keep going, makesure you take a little time for yourself every now & then xxxxAt least it will help clean the floor???
I made the mistake of putting ace in the washer dry instead on inside the drum! the bubbles covered the kitchen, the kids and dogs had a great time!!!
Thanks for your help yesterday re the puppies, had I not fallen in love with the Lurcher I suspect I would have been paying you a visit!! I once had a Lab/German shep X & he was the most beautiful dog, very loyal & intelligent & soooo cute!0 -
Just had a phonecall from Nannylala to say Auntielala has just wombled a £6 something APG so is hooked:T:T:T:TSo her recuperation after her op on Monday will be walking round A's carparks, although it'll be a while before shes climbing over fences like Nannylala;) :rotfl:Beware!!!!
