!!!!!!. i just go to change the oil in the chip fat fryer and drop the bloody thing on the floor. 3 litres of oil on my kitchen floor!!! any ideas how to soak it up? i have thrown aload of towels on top of it

First thing, don't throw towels on top of it !!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Only joking.

Mop and or dustpan - unless you have one of those wet vaccuums.

need to seriously clean it afterwards as it will be very slippy

Or sand on top of it and then brush it up.

Well the sun didn't last long here, still dry but overcast.

Seriously lacking in motivation at the moment, bum has barely left the sofa all day
All was well with myself and bump when MW came today, BP had actually improved so maybe rest is not such a bad thing :p

Loft insulation all done :j Now for the mammoth task of putting all of our [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] treasured posessions back up there. It has being driving me crazy tripping over all of the stuff piled up in other rooms but at least it forced us to go through it and decide what we need to keep.

OMG - I am in shock!!!
Just had the most un MSE experience - that will teach me!!

I have had 2 pairs of ladies wide legged trousers shortened - £22!!!!!!!!!! Cost more than the trousers, that will teach me not to get a price first!! Did not like to ask as I know the woman, she says she has 'knocked off' a couple of pounds - mates rates!!!!!!!!!!

wire hair if your around t near the areoplane they had about 20 green crates of strawberries (the £2.50 ones) reduced to 75p but i expect these will go lower as there was so many of them.

Anyone getting N/A on some items on their price checks even though they compare on mysupermarket ?

I would have had a couple of quid on at least 3 receipts if they had compared .

    T's being naughty again :mad::mad::mad:

Mine got messed up, cheaper at T's, N/As on things that should have been cheaper at A's and prices where they are cheaper at T.

this brought back memories I did wine tasting and I learned that the wine cellar at the college had lots of corked wine and ones I didn't like the taste of - I also discovered that I love Sauvignon blanc [/QUOTE

    Has to be Marlborough
I used to have Sauv Blanc as my fave (there was a time when everyone drank chardonney but not anymore). Have recently got into Voignier and Gewurtztraminer.. lovely. A fabulous independent wine shop opened not far from me last year and they are sooo knowledgeable - i dont have a clue about wine but they impress me everytime i go in and I end up shelling out for special ocassions.
