Good afternoon - ran out of time to post this morning as I like to catch up first. Just had my induction and consultation session at the gym that has just opened so I am easing my way into a more healthy lifestyle. Feel pretty good at the moment but no doubt a few little aches will develop.
Went to the town centre after to check out the 750 points on a £30 spend in MrShoes to find it isn't on in my store - I can't understand why they can't run these promotions in all stores:mad:
Hope your day is going well0 -

Seems a few people are doing exercise/giving up smoking/losing weight. My plan is to learn Spanish. Got my first class tonight (I'm a bit nervous, it's like going back to school!). It's only 5 weeks long then I can progress to the next level come Sept. I think it may be bad timing though as baby due end of Aug so I'll be baby brain mush when i'm trying to speak Spanish.:doh:dreamerbea wrote: »Good afternoon - ran out of time to post this morning as I like to catch up first. Good luck, you'll have a great time:T:TMe and DH did evening classes a few years back on wine tasting, we used to come home more than merry because you're supposed to "spit" but we always swallowed;);););):rotfl:Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
Forgot to say - I got a meal deal in MrShoes so I could use a £5 off no7 voucher and receive another voucher at the till. The meal deal is a main - side and a drink. It states meal deal will cost max of £3.29 - the prices for each of these vary so a side can be anything form £0.60 for a bag of crisps to well over a £1 for a cake - a SA was watching me deliberate and offered some help - as the sign said max of £3.29 I needed to know if would be over £3 to generate another no5 voucher. SA explained that as log as you got 3 items it would be £3.29 she also told me that the side can be one of the large bag of choccies so I got a large bag of minstrels she also said the meal deal works with the large bars of chocolate not just the small bars
Just thought I would mention as I didn't know this and I know it is no way as good as 1p choccies but as MrT says every little helps0 -

I think someone posted yesterday it was still working - always check the card in the machine as you can get vouchers that make offers irresistible. At the moment they are giving out a voucher when you spend £5 giving £5 off no7 - we have been stocking up on nail varnish which then only costs £2Me and DH did evening classes a few years back on wine tasting, we used to come home more than merry because you're supposed to "spit" but we always swallowed;);););):rotfl:
this brought back memories I did wine tasting and I learned that the wine cellar at the college had lots of corked wine and ones I didn't like the taste of - I also discovered that I love Sauvignon blanc :beer:0
