Afternoon Elite a lovely sunny day here in Suffolk :j
Thoughts and hugs to FloFlo and family, so sorry about your loss
Hugs going free here for those who need and want them :A
I've had an easy day today as my poorly knee has swollen up yet again plus swollen right ankle  Got leg propped up on sofa
So, here I sit at Royal Ascot just seen that poor horse broke it's legno winners for me but maybe tomorrow
I managed to grab a couple of the Free Range Kievs yesterday in my local but sausages oos, so it's kievs tonight for uswill let you know what I think of them later
Happychappy, I see you had a response to your request for DVDs, I did ask son but he hasn't got them anymore, it seems he got rid of them only a month ago before he moved
Better drag myself off this sofa and go get a drink n make myself look busy even if I'm not:o
I must watch the 4.25 I've got a horse in that one
!!!!!!! Ah well, never mind. I hope he didn't take them to Cash Converters as they give sod all for anything! I bought a heap of CSI Miami box sets for £3 per half season from them a while back and I asked what they would roughly give me for them if I was to sell them back to them. "About 30 to 50p" was their response.:eek:
I sold them all to https://www.webuy.com as some sets they pay 4 and 5 quid for. others were about £1.60 so I reckon I broke even.0 -
Just had a text from o2 that my phone I sent for repair is no longer under warranty and will be charged for repairs!
Going to start looking for a new one too, so any tips please post my way too! Looking for an android based phone.
I would suggest comparing the phones specs the Galaxy Note's contract seems a lot better so see if there's anything that you like on the S3.

I'm so so sorry to hear about your Mum. What RootedNomad said is very true, you remind me so much of my Mum actually :AYou are an amazingly strong, courageous and selfless lady and always thinking of others. You are wonderful. So pleased to hear Mum's temp stayed down overnight and she was alert. I do hope that the Doctors had some helpful advice and treatment proposal in their rounds and Mum will be feeling stronger soon. Please look after yourself :Axxxxxxxxxx
QPR - Hope all went well at the docs, sorry your finger isn't looking too clever
celebrate - A wonderful, strong, brave, caring, savvyand determined lady, worth her weight in gold
Well done you lovely lady for drawing a line in the sand and finally valuing your happiness above what that ignorant ex of yours ever did. You deserve far more and I hope that on this new path, both yourself and your children will achieve that. As you and others and said, there will be times where you second guess yourself but even we know you've put up with enough, let alone the majority which I'm sure you thoroughly edited. So when you're feeling sad, draw strength from how much you put up with, how many chances you gave and how you'll never have to feel like that again. We are here for you, you will not only get through this, you will flourish :Axxx
brand8 - What a gorgeous little post about how happy you are :T I'm so so so pleased to hear that you discovered the happiness you deserved all along :A
3Dogs - Sooooooooooooooooooo pleased to hear that it's a good day in the 3Dogs household! :j:j:j Here's hoping the slow release morphine will have a constant sedatory effect on Alan's symptoms and this leads to him being comfortable for much longer periods :A
FK - GORGEOUSSSSSS piccies! :T
ToNik - Beautiful post from you last night and I loved your pics of the pups! Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! I want Midge!!!! :happyhear
FloFlo - I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your FIL and no doubt devastating impact it's had on your OH and yourself also. You've had so much to cope with already this year, I wish you continued strength over the coming weeks. Sending great big cuddles
MrRumples - Happy Birthday to your DD :bdaycake:
blondy - Belated b'day wishes to you, hope your hotel stay was wonderful and relaxing
Nannylala -Bless your little cotton socks. Your posts make we wanna give you a great big cuddle :A I will be thinking of you, Nikki, Auntylala and your family over the coming week and wishing you the best of luck for your sister's op. Though it's a very sad and testing time, I hope that like me and my Mum, you and your sister will be able to enjoy some real quality time together, time that you may never have done if it weren't for such an occasion. Some of my greatest memories and times of feeling most loved are when Mum was staying with me in hospital when I was younger. I am sure that the bond you and Auntylala have will become even stronger :A I do so love Weymouth
freddies flyers two - Hope today is a better day for you and you enjoyed watching the torch relay
tiger - I found Sainsbury's home delivery CS second to none. They were fantastic with me so I hope you get a good result
RedBalloon -Sending huge hugs. I'm so sorry to hear you've had such an awful time of late. You poor thing :A
And that concludes today's round up:cool:
I feel a little left out.....:o:o

Sorry I'll try and change the topic.
Has anyone had any problems using the price promise vouchers? I tried one today but the girl on the till wasn't going to accept it. She muttered something about not being allowed to take them any more but she couldn't get her supervisors attention so gave up and put it through. It was only for a couple of quid so not over the new £10 limit. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent ~ Eleanor Roosevelt0 -

Big post coming up but a quick quote first
Feet are killing, so once again soaking in salt water as I speak. Does anyone else suffer with extremely poor circulation? My feet and hands are permanently freezing even if I'm boiling and though it's June, they're covered in chillblains which are unbelievably painful let alone unsightly
I try my hardest to keep them warm and I've tried medication but due to them lowering my already low blood pressure and me almost fainting several times, I had to cease taking them. I managed 3 months on them and had no change to my circulation so it wasn't worth the side effects.
I know it's relatively insignificant in the grand scheme of ailments and disease, both my own and others but I wondered if anyone had any tips please? Anything would be greatly appreciated, thank you :A
i had chilblains years ago and my mum gave me this tip so tried it and they have never returned.
buy some methylated spirits (purple stuff from chemist) and dab this straight onto the affected toes with cotton wool every night. can't remember for how long maybe a week? that's all you don't need to do anything else and it should get rid of them.
don't know if you still do but you had to sign for the methylated spirits and tell them what you wanted it for so i said to wash my windows as people do use it for that.
hope this works for you as i remember how painful, itchy and swollen my toes used to get:(
re the circulation, when sitting at the computer try putting your feet on a football or a couple of tennis balls and moving your feet around, think they do this on aeroplanes, might help, not sure though, but maybe worth a try:)mmm..... these strawberries make my breath happy mum ds
On a strand of pure silver, I'll welcome each day
