So last week McVities ginger cake was £1.30, 2 for £2. This week it is £1. Hmm.

Thank you to whoever mentioned the WHSmith £15 gift card for £10.
Crisis today when I get a panic phone call from DS to say the printer is out of black ink and he is in the middle of A level revision.
Near smiths and they have the right ink for 21.99 (outrageous price, only 8.99 on amazon and 9.99 in T's when they are in stock). Anyway Smiths have "buy one get one half price" so 2 for £33.
Do 2 separate transactions for gift vouchers with card £1.50 for card (!!!) + £10 for gift voucher.
Total spend £11.50 x 2 + £3 = £26 and have 2 cards and 2 ink cartridges.
Still not happy with WHSmith outrageous prices, but an emergency situation.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
