It's a strange thing - but when people are nice to me lately it just tips the balance and makes me cry again.
    I am very grateful...... x

Me too the old lip starts to quiver & I'm a blubbering mess, I try & tell people the bad stuff on e-mail or text & ask that next time they see me we just act normal

Sneaking in to say hello :o I've been lurking on these forums for a while but had to resort to registering to ask some tax credit questions. I hope you don't mind me saying hello and apologise for not posting any bargains but hopefully I'll be able to make up for that.

I love reading about everyone on here but it's so hard to keep up. I feel like I know people personally but especially 3dogs and her husband as they always in my thoughts & prayers. You are such a brave couple and are an inspiration.

    Welcome aboard!:D

You know, I saw your post and it really got my back up. I've contacted them via facebook to ask why there are none of these magazines over here. I'm not expecting to be told the truth but you never know.

For those over here, I live in the land of spuds!

Keep complaining and God save the Queen!:D

    Well done.

A 'few' years ago when my son had his French oral and translation exams, I asked if one he could do it in a separate room and two, could he have a person talking to him instead of listening to an audio tape. As he is deaf and hearing impaired, I didn't think that this was an unusual request as he couldn't hear anything thro' the audio players headset - even at high volume! The request was refused. I asked if he could use his own audio player as he could hear sometghing thro that. Again refused. A consultant from GOSH wrote a letter to the school explaining that it would be pointless sitting the exam without doing it on a one-to-one basis or at the very least, his own player. Again this was refused. DS had the embarrassment of handing in a named, dated blank sheet. When he did the oral, he couldn't hear anything on the player, so was unable to repeat the words to the examiner. He failed his French exam.

That has just brought massive tears to my eyes:o:oI know how happy it's made me to know that my DS can do his exam the way he wants too so what your DS went through must have been horrible for both of you:(

Fudge_cake many moons ago me and Nannylala had a friend called Melanie who had CF. She was a petite (5ft nothing) little thing who was the happiest, chirpiest person I had ever known. She never let her illness get her down and saw the best in everyone and always thought about everyone else and never said a word about her illness unless you asked. She was a really girlie girl and for some reason me and Nannylala have both said you just remind us of her so much:) You couldnt be unhappy with her about as she made everyone laugh. I think most of the elite have fallen in love with you a little bit and you are definately what the elite is all about;)Sharing (Glitches) and Caring (For each other) xxxxx

how very dare you young man ! but nearly right it was 3 over 80 year olds & a young girl of about 20.

Rumour has it, that although we think the young girl is home now, I haven't seen her or her sister.

There was an ambulance the other night that we missed & her father was taken away, not sure how the neighbours knew it was her father as they said it was a stretcher with the blanket right over the body, they think he was dead. Sounds outrageous but they are usually right.

He is/was a drunk who had a carer & was banished to the box room, my spies tell me the TV which is usually on all night has not been on. We will no doubt find out because some one will be knocking on doors collecting for the funeral if true.

I had to knock there a few years ago for a petition, poor man English is not his first language & he was on another planet but I happenned to look down I don't think he had had his toenails cut in about 20 years it was horrible !
