seriously what is with these magpies they are vandals disturbing the peace and plaguing my beautiful cat !! I am seriously fed up with them . Any ideas people ???

Sorry think half that conversation was still in my head. We have two that hang about here. They attack other birds and wreck their nests. They attack the local cats even when they are just sitting in the garden. I have been woken up so many mornings now with the cackling at the top of your voice. There is no songbirds now cause of these horrible magpies !!

I'm still new to this thread and really love reading and posting here. I'm not looking to get into an argument or debate with anyone.

Can I just say though, I am shocked by the blatant politically antagonising comments made by a certain member. And for no good reason.

I had a posse of magpies making my cat Riley's life a real misery. They are evil when there are a few of them. They were after him every time he ventured out. I was going out sitting in the garden with him shoo-ing them away. Poor cat was terrified. We have had lots of rain and Riley didnt go out much. Fingers crossed now they have not been around for a couple of days and I am hoping they have forgotten about him.
