Well, I'm just catching up through last night's and this morning's posts...and all I can say is. :(

It's obviously not a good morning for some, so I'm not going to say it.

celebrate, FloFlo and Tinyshoes - my thoughts are with you all. Life is full of highs and lows and I guess you're all going through the 'lows'. Just remember that there's always light at the end of the tunnel. Get support from any family members or friends.

I always think how lucky most us are when I go through a bad patch in my life. Most of us can safely say that we have a roof over our heads, heat and warmth when needed, food on the plate when we're hungry, money in our purses/wallets, family and friends for support, clean running water when needed, a great healthcare service for when we need it etc. There are billions of people out there who haven't got any of this; which makes me feel so fortunate.

I know that everyone won't deal with difficult moments in their lives like I do and that's fine; just giving some words on how I'd manage with it.

Finally, I'd like to say how amazing this thread is. The replies from some people really do bring a tear to my eye and it's great to see how some of us can open up on a forum.

I think the past few pages demonstrate what a brilliant online community we have here.

Hugs to celebrate, FloFlo, Tinyshoes, Mr and Mrs3Dogs and to anyone else who needs them; you're all amazing.

Lady on till comments on how good my apg's are, I said if u careful what you buy you can get such amounts, however I did lie cos they were wombled receipts, twelve quid off shopping helps. Still got a stack smallies I working through on whoopsied items, I not getting much from Asda in last few days they must altered the price, did get a few from Tesco though. No pulled ham left in mine, must have a fellow mse member on my patch.

I posed this elsewhere and have just copied and pasted into here for you guys to benefit too x

Old el paso mexican dinner kits of on offer for £2.

Only noticed on the bus home I was charged £3.22!!!!

Going back to get a few more this afternoon and get DTD. Will phone customer services about the one this morning.

The pack I got today was the quesildia (sp)

I should get a dtd of £2.44 so each pack, so should cost me about 80p each. Good bargain if you use them a lot.

Enchiladas also available but will check the price later x

The quesildia is not on offer , should be £3.22
Never pay more than you have too

celebrate: I'm proud of you. Whatever comes and whatever happens, you made the right decision there and then. Hope life smiles on you a bit more from now on.

tinyshoes: Sorry to hear about your mum, but it's good that you got her into A&E when you did. A good course of antibiotics and hopefully she'll be back to her old self.

FloFlo: Sorry for your loss. :(

3Dogs: I'm glad Alan was able to sleep better with oromorph. It's a really strong painkiller, likely to make him a bit drowsy, but correct pain management is so needed in his case. A few goodnight's sleep will do wonders for him.

To everyone else: Forgot to mention that my local T's has some of the aprty stuff reduced to 20-50p. Party poppers 41p, blue disposable cups 24p (I think) blue disposable dishes also around 24p. Considering the normal price for them, it's worth stocking up if you're thinking of having a party at some point this year.

Of course, who knows if left long enough they'll go down to 1p... ;) Don't think it'll happen in my locals, everything flies off the shelf when it's like this!

Must go and put the washing machine on. Would have been finished if I had got my act in gear before sitting myself down with the laptop. :o

Guess I sort of hoped Miss Laid might have come round and got on with it for me, bet hers is all in from the washing line and dry already. ;)

As I hung out my solitary load of washing today, and my line was filled, I did wonder, what size garden/paddock/field Miss Laid has, to get 5 loads of washing out there!!!

  • Just a quick post before I go out and get on with the gardening..DD was home for the weekend and took her coupon shopping at T's. £29.+ down to £3.ish..thanks to everyone on here for advice and "learning's" over the last few weeks.

On a more serious note hugs and thoughts go to all those who need them..some of you are having a rough time at the moment but keep strong and you will get through it eventually
    If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly! ;)
  • So I'm having problems with L'Oreal like everyone else. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no joy. Could anyone who has managed to print explain what theyve done and I will try that too. Thanks!
