    Evening all

been very busy lately so haven't had time to post. Sorry FK about the photo the other day. I never want tesco to get a step above us and see where you're coming from. So my apologizes.

I just been reading about the Price Promise :(:(
    Very worrying indeed I believe.
I believe it's only a matter of time now before DTD goes on overcharging.
I know I sound dramatic but the 8 items and linking to clubcard is two big points which are going to slow me down on this price promise.

Getting rid of DTD and there's not much left:(

I will be wearing black on this day next year, too far?:o

Thanks for that as said was not slating the info you found, i just think what they have said is outrageous and will be taking that statement to work tomorrow.
Not everyone knows the do's and dont's for cooking even my dh he leaves rice out all night and then says we can still eat it.no you cannot.

I used to know an asian lady. She would remove a whole bag of chicken bits from the freezer and put it in the fridge to defrost. Next day she would take out what was needed then put the bag back in the freezer. She would repeat that exercise numerous times with the same bag until it was all used up. This flies in the face of everything H&S tell us, but her family were always fit and healthy and I ate her food on numerous occasions without ever getting ill.

All these guidelines....they are only that really, just guidelines. Can't beat some good old fashioned common sense imo.

No worries bud...sorry for being sharp with you.

I'm not worried about the JTD thing at all.....as always T's will fail to implement it properly and one way or another we'll make good savings with it.

As regards DTD............I can't believe its lasted this long! If they do can it though, they will have to seriously tighten up on their pricing integrity or trading standards will have a field day! It's my guess that Tesco currently view the losses through DTD as being less than what trading standards would hit them, not to mention the constant negative publicity. I could be way off the mark, but its just how I see it.

Copy original link fom your email, paste into browser, replace the words "check" with "promise", hit enter and you'll get your result

Note "check" appears twice in the link. Replace both with "promise", not just one

Just trying this now but having problems
There is a link in the email which says check your results online or one at top of email that says tesco price check
I have tried to cut and paste both in the browser nut neither workd
Do i have to enter my receipt details again ?

    help please
