Hi all quick (well it started off as one) post for me, been laid up a lot today with my back, not that I am complaining as I know there are those in more pain that me, but it don't half hurt roll on seeing the ortho consultant!
Thanks for the tip on getting JTD vouchers panicked when I thought I couldn't get them!
With regards to DTD not getting hammered I have seen a few posts recently (not on this thread). 2 posters between them in one store got 3 phones (paid to take them away) 17 bottles of wine and lots of kids books (ermmm I missed that one can anyone fill me in?). Now to me that is taking the micky. It's people like that, that cause problems. Especially when we have had people on this very thread get into trouble for less. I know everyone has their own opinions on DTD so I don't want to offend anyone but it just goes to show there are still people hammering it when they can. Remember there are a lot of people that don't post on this thread!
Glad you got the friend issue sorted MMW.
Hope everyone else gets better or feels better too *hugs*
Anyway I am of to bed now, night all x
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -

Since Pricedrop quickly became known as Priceflop what should we call the new Price Promise?
I would like to suggest "Price Porkies" because chances are they will be as selective as ever in what they do and don't match
Any other ideas?Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Your original price check email should look something like this:
View your results for Tesco Price Check
Dear Customer,
Thanks again for submitting your receipt details online.
Your results are in! Click the link below to view your results online.
View your results online
What you want to do is:
Right click on the blue line that says "view your results online" and select "copy shortcut".
Paste this into your browser's address bar,
replace both instances of the word "check" with "promise",
then hit enter
If you can't get it to work then I suggest you just resubmit
Thanks so much I just used this was panicing when I could not view my results, knew they were there other day but had not had time to print let alone catch up with you all. But a quick skim back on the thread and help on hand. :T
Hope I have not missed anything else major.
To add to my chaos this week DD3 fell down the stairs today and has sprained her ankle, so had to go to A & E, luckily she picked a day when they were not busy and she was all xrayed and on crutches within the hour.We are just hoping for a speedy recovery as she qualified for her National Championships in her sport couple of weeks ago and has to compete beginning of July. Hope enough time to heal.
Hope Dodo and Debsjc both have fantastic holidays, both my friends away at the same time. And both leaving me here!
Hope everyone is well and Happy Birthday to any I have missed. So much getting in the way of keeping up at the moment. Feels like a big part of me is missing.0 -
I know it's not much, but...
The quiche will be frozen and taken for lunch at work with a bag of crisps. The puff pastries will be eaten as snacks in the next two days (if they survive that long). I've made a meal list with the current contents of the fridge that I am actually happy with.
Picked up a few yellow and green peppers whoopsied today, will have to freeze them for later use... And found the Real Food Magazines in my local! Sadly, no Make a Meal in that store, it seems. Did manage to use the competition voucher, at least. I'd go to the bigger store, but it may be cheaper to just stay home and use what I have. :eek:GC September 2012 - £49.04/£80 |GC October 2012 - £50.28/£80 |GC November £63.59/£60 (one adult only)0 -

I had a chilli for tea and had a sausage sarnie for supper. I was a bit disappointed with the sausage sarnie actually as the sausages were debbie and andrews. They were ok but nothing special.
Had a few stellas tonight again so might chuck myself back on my wagon in coming days. Wouldnt hurt in the big scheme of things.
Oh...went and picked up my camera today from repair. Seems they replace the lens assembly so seems my theory that the blob was on the inside of the lens cluster rather than the sensor was correct. All I need now is some nice weather to go and test it........expect to see sample images in late august!!!
No charges, no quibbles and a fast turnaround of under 3 weeks so hats off to fuji and jessops! :T0 -
