According to my internet source - you have to turn the eggs 3 times daily so they don't spend too long on one side and damage the growing embyo and the cross is either showing or not - easier to remember if you have turned or not:)0 -
Mr 3Dogs was still not feeling up to going out, so I popped down the the car boot on my own at 2.30pm to drop something off for a friend, and just sat at counter of cafe talking to friend, manager, and the couple who run the cafe. I updated them about how Alan was and they sent their love. Cafe owner was going to ring tonight if I/we hadn't come in today, to see how things were. It was nice just sitting chatting and having a laugh, and I went home with 3 Jubilee crown biccies, 2 choc shortbread, and a cupcake from Mrs Cafe and 4 cooked burgers and 10 cooked sausages, plus a bit of bacon from Mr Cafe, oh, and two cans of the energy drink they sell as I mentioned I give Alan these sometimes when we are going out. All free from are friends, the cafe owners - mostly for Alan but also for me and the doggies to have what he could eat or didn't fancy
So nice of them :A
I then went to Tosco and got one Chicago/B&J/garlic bread deal, my first chilled pizzas - the 3 for £5 with 3 mocs, and another tub of Ambrosia Rice Pud. I hit the right time as lad was reducing bakery items by 90% as it was only 10 minutes to closing by then. Only me there at first, but a crowd soon gathered and everything was very civilised, with everyone getting what they wanted. I got 7 packs in total of different pastries, croissants and cookies all at 15p each, and also got Explore China Duckling/Hoisin Sauce/Salad pot for 10p at the produce reduced point. So a happy bunny here. The lad reducing at the bakery asked if anyone wanted anything in particular as he had been told to stop doing it and the rest was going to waste   I would have got more but the old ladies in the street I take excess things to are away/in hospital and I had more than enough for us and any more would have gone to waste here
Anyway, for tea tonight we had a burger each and sausages (2 for me and 3 for Alan) together with the Hoisin Duck salad thing - total cost 10pand very nice it was too. Doggies will have the other 2 burgers and the remaining sausages mixed in with their dry food tomorrow - they have already had a sausage each earlier
Edit: btw I put all the reduced items through first so my JTD not affectedMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

I am & I did ! Just back from A & E did a bit of strimming then I was out the front snipping handfulls of hedge with the very sharp secateurs & all but sliced the top off my finger!
Ran indoors changed my clothes (difficult) & drove myself to the hospital with mother doing the handbrake & automatic shift.
came home to see the blood on the doorstep all over the kitchen floor & sink & my wellies
Because it was bleeding so much took all the blooded kitchen paper to hosp in a bag so they could see it& secateurs.

I am finally going to get my kitchen finished this week.
We had a kitchen fitted 5 years ago, they were to fit new electric sockets, fit the kitchen & plaster the walls. It wasonly a local person and stupidly I paid them up front and they went bust before they started the plastering.
I honed other plasterers and the cheapest I was quoted was £600, they said I need all the kitchen ripped out 1st and then put back afterwards.
Saw an old mate yesterday who said he's just starting in the building trade so I asked him to give me a quote, the top cupboards do need taking down but nothing else, he's redoing the electric sockets because they haven't been sunk properly (or something like that), boxing in all the pipes and refitting the cupboards for £100september wins - toshiba laptop, timotei shampoo & conditioner, mccains games, pimms picnic blanket.
october wins - grants tumblers, £20 petrol voucher, sega console, iphone
novembers wins - £50 on walkers rainy day, £50 itunes voucher
march wins - dog treats0 -

How on earth do you manage to walking without falling over in something like that??!!!

Sorry I'm in stitches!! :rotfl:
I would go as far to say I'm as pink and sparkly as our Nikki:D I didn't think anyone would ever assume I was a man :rotfl:
Thanks for appropriate gender realignment celebrate :T:rotfl:
Since I was little I often revert to walking on my tip toes. When I'm in a lot of pain with my legs, my calves often get really tight and being on tip toes relaxes them somewhat so walking in heels comes naturally. Also being 4ft 11" the height boost is a great incentive and wearing heels is about the only sexy thing about me!:o:o

There was no frozen garlic baguettes in my store either, but they offered without any prompting to scan through either a double pack of the fresh/chilled baguettes or a pack of the frozen garlic bread slices, but using the barcode of the ones from the offer so that the deal would kick in. Maybe worth asking at your stores if they would do this?
Amazing how the thread can go from this lovely story to newbies and regulars alike being blasted for considering doing anything similarThat's a good idea.
I was thinking of taking an empty pack of the baguettes, going to a manned till and asking the SA to scan the pack for me.
Nooooooo, that would be disastrious. Apparently their stock control system will melt, rivers will run red and the sun will fall out of the skyApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Yes, given the first one some soaked crumb, do you leave some food in there all the time0 -
Evening everyone
sitting here chilling with a glass of wine after an exhausting couple of days glitching
feel like i need a day off work tomorrow to rest
what an enjoyable week though. Unfortunately i was never around for the DTD days (only found this thread by luck early last year) but have not had so much fun glitching since the OEP glitch last christmas
Thanks to OP who posted about the b&j and pizza price flop coupons and also thanks to everyone on this thread who makes it just as enjoyable catching up and finding out what everyone has been doing as partaking in the glitches yourself.
Feeling quite emotional now
What a lovely bunch you all are
