    Hi everyone..

    Had a big trouting today...
Went to MR T today, have only been to this store once before and never done anything I shouldn't in here...

They saw me coming and picking up their magazines, was going to get make a meal sausage, some biscuits, tescos's yoghurts and some B&J's but none left..

Got to till had about 5 sausages in trolley, I asked did she want me to put through one at a time as the coupon alert went off and the coupon states 'one per transaction' ..
No sooner had the words left my gob the manager came over and said, 'you can only have one sausage' and that 'transaction' means 'customer' ok I said, while thinking to myself I wish I'd gone to the car boot instead...

Tried to do one sausage and it wouldn't let me, that message came up on screen and she said it has to be more than £1 and that they won't give it me for free...

Humiliated, and stressed I finish the shop she then says I have to pay for the sausage as she can't take it off and have CC refund the cost of it...so I had to overpay for something I wanted but wasn't able to have..:o:o:o

Couldn't get any B&J as no garlic bread, but was grateful for the biscuits...

Doesnt it just show how things differ from one Tesco to another. I got 4 sausages today with 2 ambrosia pots and used coupons for the lot. SA just got the till supervisor over and he said put them through as non-scan coupon for the sausage and she put them all through at once.

If tesco dont want you to have them for nothing, then they shouldnt have price reduced them with an active legitimate voucher!

I wouldn't have paid for any of of the shopping and I would have left it all behind and gone to another store but I am fortunate in that within a 3 mile radius I have the choice of 5. I also would have stood my ground with the manager, even if it got me nowhere - gone are the days when I let a tosco manager talk down to me when I am not actually doing anything wrong.

What do you say to them hun..I did argue my case but manager was there...
I'm no shrinking violet, but didn't get me anywhere...

Well i was ready for it becuase someone else had already alerted me. When the message minimum spend comes up I say that this is because Mr T has dropped the price from £1.49 t0 £1 and that this is why the till does not like it. I think the fact that I sound knowledgeable helps. it has worked... so far:p

    Good evening:)
I have managed to get the last 2 baguettes, so they completed my
double B&J meal:j Thank you so much Elite:beer::j And special thanks to Sir F:)
I found some Thomas the Tanks plastic cutlery - forks and spoons - baby blue - but the item was not on file, so I did not bother to wait for the SA to check the price.Possibly it could be 1p item.
They had plenty of the Real Food magazine, so I took few.

On the way back home I went into S's and they have many kids&baby items RTC - I've got:
Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Stage 2 easy reach teether 4 months+ for £0.50
Think offfer expires 11/06, so (hopefully) will still be available tomorrow :)
Thanks a lot - probably I'll give it a go:)

    Duckling Saga!

We rescued 15 duck eggs 4 weeks ago when Mr Fox had mum for dinner. Last night 1st egg hatched, followed by another this afternoon and another is just starting to break out. Thought you might like to see photo's, will let you all know what happens.
No t's for me today, thanks for the pizza, yogurt and b& j's info.
Many thanks to Snap-ant for the quiz which I thoroughly enjoy even though it takes me ages to complete on the laptop.
Love to catch up on your lives/posts etc even though I never find anything new or post very often
    THANK YOU

Well done you :T That picture really made me smile, reminds me of when I was younger and my dad used to incubate chicken/duck/geese eggs if needed. :)
What's even stranger is that bowl you have in the background, is it an old bowl? I have a dish similar and have been trying to find out what set it is from!

And Hello everyone, just trying to catch up, hope all is well with you all :D

This weeks if I can get a load of jimmy's sausages really cheap with the use of some coupons I might get a load and fi d some more room in the freezer. Might as well try and help him and to prove Tosco wrong.:)

I predict the B&J meal deal is not going to be pricechecking faavourably tomorrow. Why? Because I have finally joined the party and bought some for myself!!!

Every day I've thought, "there's no point, they'll have fixed it" and every day I've seen you all confirm it's still working and I've been v jealous

Fingers crossed it lasts another day

On a separate note I wombled a receipt with £30 P&G products on it which is great for the Olympic Reward scheme they have going. It also had 95 unclaimed CC points which is my record for points wombling

Last bit of news, I'm still getting pricecheck vouchers back from receipts I've wombled at my local Express store. I'm not sure if all Express stores are now included or if mine is just on the system incorrectly (1st line of the Pricecheck FAQs still says Express stores are excluded).
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen

i went to bexh1ll today as visiting family and they didn't even have an sel for the deal or the right size peas, they didn't have the cool bag either and really wanted one for summer for cheap and free days out with the boys. will have to go to hasting5 one i think but the price flops have expired now, although the £4 deal i may still get as it is all stuff we eat anyway.
caught up on todays posts and see i wasn't the only one to get DTD on the biscuits today, it must be mixing up the packs thats the issue then as i got 2 of the jam and creams, 1 golden crunch creams and one butter crinkles when only one bogof came off
Big stack of bags in Hasting5
