evening guys and gals .... hope everyones enjoying the weekend :)

the sun has been out here all day so the kids have been angels playing outside... happy days for me...tires them out ready for bed! ;)

Apologies in advance if the next bit offends anyone...and I dont want it to cause chaos on the thread....buuuuuttt.....

it seems that over the last few weeks the ethos on this thread has gone to pot!!! we've had some newbies to MSE appear (welcome and hi!!)...so maybe some dont realise their errors...but theres many other not so new MSErs and even regular eliters that seem hell bent on bending the rules so far it could potentially snap altogether.

I'm talking about things like deliberately using mocs for the wrong product purely to get a better deal, using JTD vouchers even though you have returned evey item on the reciept...and today we have taking your own stuff into Ts and scanning it purely to get a deal and JTD.......unbelievable.

Are we really not happy with the deals that we get offered and the legitimate ways we can fleece Ts without deliberately bending the rules to a point which could put an end to it all?

    Remember folks.....

original DTD was stopped and changed to JTD when people took the P.....
    it was then capped....

they used to accept mocs even if you hadnt bought the product - people took the P - it stopped

they accepted competitors mocs.....people took the P - it stopped

I for one would rather them continue to let me use mocs ....but abuse will more than likely end this too.

A's dont offer half the 'incentives' as Ts do to obtain your custom (yes we all know their service etc is better)....maybe Ts will go the same way.....then we'll all be moaning even more and having to spend a lot more :(

rant over.....just would like to see the thread return to its ahem...law abiding ways ;)

Going to have to say I completely agree and well put Looby:T:T

Am I the only person not have to have used the pizza voucher?...we very rarely eat pizza so not bought any with the voucher as don't see the point in buying for the sake of buying. Although I did get one meal deal with the Chicago Town pizza and B&J ice cream..may get another tomorrow.. :)

Now the biscuit voucher...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: have used quite a few as love chocolate digestives so been buying 2 packs along with a pack of custard creams for £1.40....have had to 'hide' the packets so I won't be too tempted by them as could eat a whole packet at a time :eek:..

    Hi everyone..

    Had a big trouting today...
Went to MR T today, have only been to this store once before and never done anything I shouldn't in here...

They saw me coming and picking up their magazines, was going to get make a meal sausage, some biscuits, tescos's yoghurts and some B&J's but none left..

Got to till had about 5 sausages in trolley, I asked did she want me to put through one at a time as the coupon alert went off and the coupon states 'one per transaction' ..
No sooner had the words left my gob the manager came over and said, 'you can only have one sausage' and that 'transaction' means 'customer' ok I said, while thinking to myself I wish I'd gone to the car boot instead...

Tried to do one sausage and it wouldn't let me, that message came up on screen and she said it has to be more than £1 and that they won't give it me for free...

Humiliated, and stressed I finish the shop she then says I have to pay for the sausage as she can't take it off and have CC refund the cost of it...so I had to overpay for something I wanted but wasn't able to have..:o:o:o

Couldn't get any B&J as no garlic bread, but was grateful for the biscuits...
I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...

Hello elite, from not so sunny Prague :j

just catching up while DS has a snooze. He's had a cough keeping him up at night since Friday and well, day of rest and all that. Is it sad that I am itching to get home so i can resubmit my n/a receipts from last week since read that Pricecheck is fixed?

I'll probably be lurking til I get home on Friday, and will be hitting t's on saturday. We went to the Tesco in the city centre and some of the prices are even more expensive here than at home. Also a little annoyed to do a t's shop and have to pay for it all!
    See you later,
    MrsB.

Loved Prague - can't recall if that is the Tesco I remember that had the scooters (petrol ones) in it, but we found some of their stock very funny!

Have you been in the ultra-modern shopping centre yet (can't remember the name!), really strange entering that from an old and slightly run-down town!

That's what I've done and up on a high shelf that I can't reach without getting the small steps out...thinking the harder it is for me to get at them then the less tempted I will be to eat them...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I am assuming these eggs need to be turned regularly so a cross helps in remembering if you have actually turned them!

hi everyone, hope you've all had good days and it wasn't too wet for the race for life today louj101. i had a successful shop today, got the £1.79 pizzas with the vouchers, couple of frozen cheesecakes, foxes biscuits, but couldn't get the birds eye meal deal as T's had the wrong size peas in stock. Also got my very first ever DTD, only a small one but still :D, got 4 packs of foxes biscuits and one set of bogof didn't work, cs checked the offer for me then explained dtd. for anyone thats interested it was the golden crunch creams that didn't scan on bogof, the jam and cream one and the butter ones i got did.
I got a few Birdseye deals in Hasting5 they had the right size peas , had they all gone?
