    Duckling Saga!

We rescued 15 duck eggs 4 weeks ago when Mr Fox had mum for dinner. Last night 1st egg hatched, followed by another this afternoon and another is just starting to break out. Thought you might like to see photo's, will let you all know what happens.
No t's for me today, thanks for the pizza, yogurt and b& j's info.
Many thanks to Snap-ant for the quiz which I thoroughly enjoy even though it takes me ages to complete on the laptop.
Love to catch up on your lives/posts etc even though I never find anything new or post very often
    THANK YOU

I stood my ground when thsi happened to me, and informed the SA each time that it was because Tesco had dropped the price that the coupon would not work automacally. lots of tutting- not from me, but I suppose that I did not have a manager there, and it was nearly closing time.

Isn't it amazing how the expereince differs according to the store? The SA on SS yesterday had never seen a Price check coupon either.

Oh well I think there may be a few price check vouchers next week thanks to B&J ;););)

Yesterday my local T's was giving them to nearly everyone, I only spent £6 and each cashier had a stack of them at their till & were putting them on everyones bill. She gave me one and told me you get one free when you spend £10 on chilled food, I hadnt but it still came off. I hadnt seen them in this store before, but I had got some from the local extra last week, so I have been looking for them. I reckon some stores have either only just recieved them or only just realised what they are supposed to be doing with them. The extra had them out over a week ago and doesnt have any left now.

As i mentioned before, when I had spent £10+ on frozen at the other T store in town and 'bought' the bag, it had taken the amount for the bag off the bill whereas in this store it hadn't. From what CS and the SA told me they knew nothing about it being a freebie for a spend, so I think you may be right about them not knowing what to do with them.

Does the £1 not work automatically on the £1 sausages, might wait for the price flop if thats the case?
It is because they have been dropped to £1 so you get them free- the till cannot cope with this, even though there is no minimum spend on the voucher. Both SAzs told me I could not use them...I have just become more assertive and will argue my case!:j

All the Jubilee stuff was still out in my nearest extra this morning....I quite like the cake stand so was wondering when it will all be reduced..thought maybe after the Olympics..:):)

Will keep them in utility room with a heat lamp for 3 weeks, then slowly aclimatise them for the next 10 weeks, they eat powdered corn followed a crumb/ corn mix according to my local pet shop. Will probably have to clip their wings and keep as pets.
It's been a huge learning curve, luckily found lots of very useful info on the net.
Have another mallard nesting on our pond and those will be totally wild.
Will try and keep you updated:)

dont mean to interfere just trying to help are you giving the food in water as ducks prefer there food soaked we use soaked chick crumbs then soaked growers for our ducklings
