Definitely sending positive vibes for motivation for you. Don't worry about the meal plans. :) I need to go back to taking sandwiches in to work too. Next week, I'll have to post the kind of sandwich I've made so I HAVE to make sandwiches else admit I didn't do it (blush) :D

Monday then I'll use some bits of bacon and make a sandwich filler:

1 rasher of bacon, chopped and fried.
    2 mushrooms, chopped and fried.
    pinch mixed herbs
    2 tbsp mayo

Mix all together :D Use in sandwiches :D I must stick to this!

    Kxx

    Happy Friday to you!

Positive motivation is good..thank u....feel like I'm treading water at the mo...just 4 sleeps to my 2week hol and I'm really preoccupied trying to leave with work all under control and think about packing for a family of 4!!

A break is exactly what I need ...got my spreadsheets all printed off ready to go to review more ways to save money plus we have Internet access where we're going so I plan to keep fully abreast of everything!!!

Think this is why I'm feeling a little less motivated than normal ..but have to keep reminding myself that I've come a long way and having planned every months budget until the end of the year despite emergencie(which I've saved £500 for) I can't go far wrong..

May be a little quiet for the net 2 and a bit weeks....catch u all soon xx

Hi all! Lots of sun here but lots of money saving work happening too!

Have rejigged the finances a little and I've save £47.78 so far today already...and paid that straight off the credit card! Hope to make some chunky over payments this month when I get paid too...I've swapped around insurances etc so think I can knock off about £280 pm on top!

Couple of big bills mainly holiday related have scuppered some plans to clear more...

However we're on track to UNDER spend for the first time ever on holiday...unbelievable and a real success for us! Plus kids have been given their own budget for ice cream/treats and for once they're taking their time spending it and being really careful with it too!

I'll try and pop back with more holiday money saving news soon!!!

Ok time well spent in the last few days....shaved a little here and there and paid £425.66 off debt (combo of min payments plus extras)was hoping for it to be a little more than this but with school hols and days out planned as well as new uniforms to buy for September I thought I,d be realistic and hold back a little extra for this type of thing.!

I've also not used a credit card since 7th June...a real success

Having a fab hol...really great spending time with the family and recharging the old batteries!!!!!
