I will have a go at sorting that bit out then. Ive not figured how to do that yet (not actually tried, but I will do)
I always say thanks as I believe a little bit of politeness goes a long way. Will do the sorting thing in a bit then.Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday

Good luck zombieslayer 25. I've only been comping since 26th May and you can see my wins so far in my sig
only little ones, but they still give you the positivity to enter more!
Back to comping after a 3-year hiatus :j0 -
I would definitely recommend using twitter for comps. You can enter a high volume of comps relatively quickly, as usually you just need to retweet. Competitions on there are usually quick turnaround and therefore quite low entry.
My best ever win was from twitter (A technology bundle - Macbook Air, HTC Desire, Xbox, Squeezebox Radio and MiFi dongle).
p.s I have been comping for years (probably at least 15 years) but when I first found MSE 5 years ago, I got my first win within a month of entering competitions and that was an expensive set of saucepans (which are in daily use still)!:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0 -
Thanks again everyone, I am currently searching through those ending today and tomorrow (I will do sat and sun as I go along etc) Sorry to have probably been asking the same questions a lot of people probably ask. You are all stars :jCurrent Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday

Like my sig says - over 3 years. I'm kinda bummed at the mo, last month I entered more comps than I ever have before and won nothing (the juice win shown in my sig was entered the month previously) but I got a lot of LEMs. It's even more annoying because just before the end of May I dreamt the postman was delivering a bunch of of prizes and he'd set them down outside the front door and I was signing for them. There was an old mad sitting on my front step too trying to touch me and look through the prizes and as soon as the postman left, a whole crowd of people came running towards me, 100's of them and they stole my prizes. Then it was the next day (in the same dream) and another postman or courier came to deliver a prize in the form of raffle looking tickets and I resignedly said to him I didn't know if it was worth it since I had been mugged the day before and he said that if it happened again I should keep the winning ticket and show them the losing ones. So before he left I ripped off the winner (£2000 receipt ticket) and as soon as he left people came running at me again. I threw the losing tickets at them and told them if they wanted them then there they were. They all looked upset as if they had lost out and left. The ticket was in my pocket and I went to work, apparently I was a nurse, and on my way people kept trying to grab at me and looking for prizes, the same happened when I got to the hospital but I told them I had nothing. However, I had my hands in my pockets and one of the other nurses suspected and followed me everywhere, I knew what she was up to and was trying to act casual, she offered to take my coat for me, I refused, I went to the locker room and tried to remove the ticket before taking the coat off but she was too close. I took my coat off and was holding it and trying to convince her that I had nothing, but she leered at me and snatched the coat, and I woke up.

Don't give up is my advise. I am a newcomer to this site and still waiting for a win and I enter competitons every evening but I know that I shall win something one day. I had been comping for at least the past 4 years on another site until I found MSE which is now my favourite. My sons used to mock me for 'wasting my time' as they called it. I used to say to them "you wont say that when I win a television" and low and behold, I entered an Easter competition on Heart Radioabout 2 or 3 years ago . Had a phone call telling me that I had won a 42" T.V, Wii console, blu-ray player,£100 Tesco vouchersand the list went on and on. In total I must have won at least£1,000 of prizes. I couldn't believe it. I've won other prizes too. Money from magazines, toys , dvd's, cd,s. DVD player another Blu-ray player other small items, It's lovely opening the post and it says 'Congratulations' you are the lucky winner of...... I am having a dry spell at the moment, but I tell my sons ' I'm waiting for the big one! " My goal is to win' The Real Deal' comp and I actually tell myself that one day I will. Every competition we all enter has a winner and one day it WILL be you. Believe it. Good Luck!:T0

I have entered just over 4000 comps this year and only had 3 wins. I suppose I'm just not one of those lucky people when it comes to winning comps.
When I think about the time spent entering, I struggle to justify why I actually enter them. Someone recently said to be that it's no better than gambling and when I really thought about it I knew they were right.[2014]
Competitions No Wins
Total of wins - £0 :T0 -
Have you read the comping guide hun? Answers a few of the questions you've asked lately like the one about offer x etc. Maybe it could really help you? Also about the social side, when you have compers on facebook and twitter you tend to talk to them on there too, I have a few people who I only met through comping who have turned into amazing friends now xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx
