Take the Nandos offer:

"Use your synced Amex Card: Spend £10 or more in one purchase at Nandos through August 15 2012 and get a £10 statement credit. Limit 1 statement credit per Card."

As far as we understand this means you can use the offer once per AMEX card before 15/8/2012.

It doesn't mean you can use it each statement period.

A question I have, is there a way to see all the active offers?

I have logged into the www.foursquare.com site and you can search for different areas and that works fine. You then have an option to select "Have foursquare specials" which I tick and that comes back with most the offers, but from what I can see this search is restricted to "Top Picks" only.

For example when I do this is comes back showing me Cafe Rouge, Nandos, Pizza Express, but it doesn't come up and show my Primark.

If I manually enter Primark in the search and then it comes back showing Primark has the £10 offer.

The issue I have is how do we easily know if other retailers have offers? Or is the point of foursquare it only works well if you are in an area and you can't be moneysavers and plan ahead with your shopping/eating/spending to maximising the offers?

You can return to Primark and complete the transaction at a later day. It doesn't say anywhere that you have to make a purchase the same day as you unlock the offer.

I think they apply the credit only when the statement gets produced.
So it may not appear as a credit transaction on the amex online statement showing recent transactions.

I agree, once per offer per card until 15th August.

The whole terminology thing Amex have used with "Statement credit" is confusing!

It does appear on the recent transactions online, but takes a few days to appear. This was what happened for my tesco one.

Worked fine afew days ago in Tesco and card loaded corrected. Waiting for credit now. Friday checked in Primark - tried loading the card it said I need to check in first to load the offer. This was with my MBNA amex card. I also registered saparately on my Amex charge card and I'm having the same with that aswel. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it again today thought it might work but now special offer section disapeared. I have emailed Amex regarding it.

Any idea how can I get it work. Above was tried with Android phone. Also have a W7 phone aswel and no offers appears on that either.

Fed up with this app. Wasted allot of my time. MS

Me too, ive had same problem on friday when i checked into eat, today rried to load to card wen i was at nndos and it wont let me, even though ive already checked in. This was on my iphoe erggh

Me too. Tried Pixxa Express, Nando's & Bella Italia. Same on Friday at Tesco. Just about ready to bin this.

Can anyone help?
