Anything over £35 and the rest is technically free anyway. Lots of service stations have a load of food stuffs so you may as well do some shopping too! Or just grab some wine or beer.

Yes, I'd thought about getting bits and bobs, hadn't thought of beer. That should rack the price up a bit. I don't drink, but other half wouldn't say no to free beer. He is spoiled by all my moneysaving endeavours!

Turns out the Waitrose petrol station isn't showing as a Shell station on Foursquare, but will try and get to another Shell station on my travels.

"apparently" nationwide, the tills of Starbucks don't work today. When I tried to buy a gift card they said that because the tills don't work they can't load the money to the gift card. Forestalling tactics?

Got two £10 gift cards at 2 separate Starbucks today. Both notified on Foursquare too.

a question if someone can help please.

I went to shell to grab the petrol offer. on the app i finally found shell and saw it recognised the special offer. so i checked in and then i got a screen which says "congratulations, you have unlocked the offer" but above that there was a green box saying "sync card". i had already synced the card so when i click on that link and enter card details it says card already synced.

in the past after logging in i am used to a message saying "load to card". is this still there in latest version. am using iphone.

I've had the same problem since I changed my phone.. in my case is because of the phone, as I tried yesterday with my old one and I can load the offer, but on the new one I only see "Sync my card" (which I've done at least 6 times!!)

I've tried creating a different account, I've emailed them several times and nothing... I think the only solution is to cancel the card and get a new one.

Surely it's the phone that's the problem? Can't see a new card making any difference at all.

The phone is the same brand as the other one (just a more modern model) and it works perfectly... the problem is their system and the way it recognises where I'm connecting from, it must have saved somewhere the original phone's settings (or Foursquare version or settings) and now it does not allow a different one.

How do you submit a query please? My card is a Lloyds TSB Avios amex card, so do I contact Lloyds customer services...?

Contact Amex via your online account or https://sync.americanexpress.com/foursquare/customerservice

If possible contact them via your online account as the card number is then provided straight away and the whole thing will be much quicker.
