Anyone tried Green Tea?
Comments
-
I tried white tea today for the first time, and it tastes ok! It was the Clippers make, and I followed the instructions and didn't use boiling water and didn't let it steep for too long.
Gok Wan is apparently going to do a bit on Chinese tea on his cooking programme on C4 tomorrow evening, in case anyone is interested.0 -
I know this thread is a bit old, but instead of starting a new one I will add to this :-)
I found a lovely, very cheap green tea at a Chinese supermarket.
£1.65 for 250g:

(it's sold online as well, although it's more expensive)
It's loose leaf, but the leaves are large and I drink it with the leaves in it because the just stay at the bottom (it gets bitter if they stay there too long). However the chinese would do a very quick infusion and keep the leaves to use again and again. There are videos on youtube on how the make tea.0
